I really like this store for the fact that it has a good selection of clothing including shoes and accessories. Merchandise is displayed well in an organized manner that makes it fun and less daunting to do some real deep dive shopping. The prices are competitive and somewhat more modest than other thrift stores in the same neighborhood. I do question the narrative of their non-profit status and charitable intentions however. The reason I question this is from what I actually experienced upon finding myself suddenly and unexpectedly unhoused having to spend quite a few days and nights on the sidewalk in the front of the store. Not once was I approached regarding my well being or offered a blanket or a cup of coffee. It was quite the opposite in fact. The police were called frequently and unnecessarily in addition to having received daily threats from the store manager. It was a real eye opening situation and hopefully at some point I can take what I learned from that experience and apply towards the greater good. If I was in anyway qualified to give this establishment and its staff advice, it would be that when you advertise claims of being a charitable Christian store who serves the community and helps the homeless etc. and revenue stems from 100% donated items from residents of the community I feel that it would be best to lead by real life examples of humility and compassion rather than just what you claim to do in writing. It's very contradictory. It would be refreshing to witness for example a table set out offering free coffee and donuts every so often and perhaps coupons for your neighbors that are obviously in need as well as other small gestures to show your sincerity to the community. A little compassion goes a very long way and is rarely forgotten. Having said that I plan on continuing being a loyal customer and hope this review is helpful.

The prices are very good. The facility is always clean and clothing is in color order as well as SIZE order clearly marked. So much easier than getting in a hangar war trying to see the size! New items daily. Another plus is to compete with Goodwill's Thursday dollar day, Acts thrift store has a Thursday night special starting at 4 that is 40 percent off EVERYTHING. No looking for certain color tag. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Good finds!!

Great little store. They have a couple really cool treasures that would make The American Pickers happy I think. I didn't find anything that I had to buy this time, but it is on my mom's regular treasure hunting route! The folks were really nice. Bonus they even offer donation pick up. Below is a sweet steamer trunk from waaaay back in the day. One of the really neat things I saw there.

No, at this time we are not doing any home delivery of purchases. We can give buyers limited time to make personal arrangements to pick up their items.
We follow all COVID requirements mandated by the Los Angeles County Health Dept. In fact they visited us and gave us a thumbs up total compliance regarding mask requirements, social distancing, hand sanitizer for customers and employees, Plexiglass cough shields for cashiers, etc.
