We had an awesome time! The campground is just a short hike to the falls and a short drive to the lake. I had absolutely no cell service (TMobile) up there, but service was fine at the lake. We had campsite #35. There were some pretty great campsites with some cool rocks. Campsite #52 looked especially awesome.

August 2021🏕. I went to Green Valley for the second time this year. There was a lot of shade on the site and it wasn't too hot in the shade. I wore a hoody at night but it was so cold. We enjoyed campfire and saw the most beautiful stars. Unfortunately there was no water in the river.

Great shaded campground with plenty of space between sites. Awesome fun waterfall with small wading pools and some rock sides accessible via a few minutes hike. Brr, cold water though! Good hiking nearby and lots of interesting flora and fauna.

Two of my buddies and I went overnight just to hang out, and overall we had a great time. For $30/night it was really good, the sites were big enough for my 8-man tent plus all the gear we brought, there was wildlife such as birds and squirrels everywhere, and at night the sky was perfectly clear. My only real complaint is that there were airplanes flying over us all night, but it wasn't that big of a deal unless you are a light sleeper. All in all, I had a really good time and I would return.

The campground is closed for camping due to renovations. People can still hike in the campground to see the falls. Judging from the looks of the work, it looks like another year before camping will be an option.
$30 a night-the campground has restrooms and water. Hope that helps.
Yes $10
They are fully open. Reservecalifornia.com will let you reserve up to 48 hrs prior to check in if available.
As of last month yes
Closed as of Tuesday? Looked they were setting up to reopen.
Not sure if they're still taking reservations but swimming in the Falls is extremely crowded you could barely even walk
It was but now it's closed for winter. It opens again in April.
Yes, as of 30 June 2019
As far as I know, they don't make reservations. But it fills up very fast. My friend and I didn't get a spot once.
Camping is open. Was closed awhile ago due to the fire. I'm not sure if its year round though.
The camping spots habe plenty ofnroom for multiple tents. There is no place to fish in the campground, but Cuyamaca Lake is only a few miles up the road and there is fishing there.

I don't know for sure, but most campgrounds I've been to are closed in winter because it is to cold or they are cleaning up the campground. Hope this helps.
At the beginning of April. It was closed for work on the connecting brigde that washes out during winter and some other maintenance that was needed.
