The fresh trout is good, though I wasnt prepared for the bones. Getting seated was a little challenging due to the small dining area and limited seating for larger groups. Service was a tad slow but the staff was very friendly. If you enjoy fresh trout it is definitely a place to visit.

I enjoyed the food. I had the grilled rainbow trout and it was great. Their fried okra was some of the best I've ever had. They also have homemake potato chips that are amazing. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and lodge theme building. Our service was top notch. All in all, a positive experience.

We had great service and the food was amazing. I have never had shrimp that taste that good. Best trout ever too. A must go if your in town. We go often and eat there wonderful fish but tonight I had their Baked Chicken and oh my gosh it was wonderful.

First let me say that the parking for this restaurant is across the street from the actual restaurant. I visited here with my family and I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. As the name suggests they specialize in trout but I actually had the fried shrimp served in a bed on rice with a side of fries. Homemade potato chips and hush puppies are complementary additions that precede the meal. Our server Donna was wonderful. I can't say enough about her. One of the hallmarks of wonderful service is never having to ask for your drink to be refilled and the service was excellent. The food arrived quickly and hot. Everyone in my party was pleased with their meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
