The orange chicken and oolong tea were pretty good! Only downside is it is pricey but worth it! Also they aren’t combo meals meaning you have to order everything separate and then from there distribute the food out to everyone. The server was a bit rude but the food was the best part!

Situated along the main tourist strip in Gatlinburg, this unassuming place is a hidden gem. Service was great, food was phenomenal, prices were better than reasonable. We caught them during a lull, just before dinner rush so we were seated immediately. Less than 10 minutes after we ordered, soup was on the table. Roughly 10 minutes after that, entrees were delivered. The food was far better than I expected from a restaurant in a tourist town. It was well presented, generously portioned, and easily the best Chinese food I can remember having. If you're in the area, don't skip it.

North China was an amazing experience in a chilly February adventure. The staff is attentive and even assisted in boxing our food up. We started with some amazing won ton soup, which was brought in two bowls even though we only ordered one. Thank you! I had the North China curry with beef and shrimp and assorted vegetables in a green Thai curry sauce. The flavor was spot on and served with fried rice. My partner had the shrimp with broccoli they was so well cooked and served in an oval plate with some of the broth served with it that was fragrant and great mixed with the fried rice served with the dish. Amidst a number of mediocre American food places, this cozy restaurant with authentic flavors and portion size to take a bit home was perfect for the occasion.

After being in the business for close to 50 years it is understandable that people gets tired so I can't blame them if they are tired of doing the same thing over and over again but there's no question they need to improve in how they communicate to others. Yes there was a bad vibe and yes the place looks old but that's what happens when the magic is gone... I can't say that for the food because we absolutely loved it. Best egg drop soup I've ever had along with the fried rice and not to mention the noodles! Be aware, you might not like how you get treated but for us, we loved the food and we would come back despite being rude 😂

Employees inside the restaurant have masks on. Customers have the option to wait outside to help keep everyone apart.
Yes they should be, just call, Chinese is a traditional for some Caucasian Americans, and Asians. White folks are so burnt out on holiday food between Thanksgiving and Christmas parties, Chinese is the go to. (Don't tell Celebrity Apprentice President, he'll ship the Asians out). LOL.
