I used to get personal training sessions here and LOVED IT! My husband and I had great trainers (Winter and Brandon) and would have continued if we didn’t move to San Diego. Super sad there aren’t any fitness 19 locations near us :( hope we can get back to this gym soon!

Beware if hiring a personal trainer. After almost 3 years of PT, Fitness 19 fired my trainer. I was highly dissatisfied with her replacement (who's recent experience was teaching group classes., (not a PT in my eyes) ) and requested a refund for unused recently purchased sessions. They refused because I was to give them 30 days advance notice. I filed a dispute with Visa who sided with the gym because the dumb a*s Fitness 19 manager showed Visa the 30 day clause. Matter of fact I was short 2 days from meeting the 30 days. So they kept my money and I never went back.

AWFUL!! They took advantage of my blind and deaf friend. They charge her $520 a month for personal training sessions that she can't even attend. she didn't know what she was signing up for because she can't hear or see!!! Received terrible customer service from the manager Blake when trying to discuss this and received no sympathy at all. She is a disabled woman, I don't understand how she can treat her so poorly and get away with it. Zero stars out of 5

Clean, lots of nice equipment. Knowledgable staff. Rude members, I guess no one instructed them in basic gym etiquette. I often find armpit sweat on the preacher curl bench and elsewhere. Many members park themselves at a station, resting between sets and looking at their phones. I guess gym manners was an 80's thing.
