07/20/22 - My 2nd visit in the last month and there are 2-3 teen employees working the whole store...again. Same thing last time. No manager...I asked. I had a full cart and had to self checkout. Spoke to the "head teen" and she looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. Not sure she can speak. If you worked a 12 hour shift like me and want to work more...while paying the company...then this is the store for you. Self checkout is the only option. Definitely not a quality Harris Teeter. #neveragain #payforemployees

I really like this store. Produce always looks good, there are a lot of really great deals but most of all...I dont have to check myself out. I hate that now everywhere you go it's self check out. The stores make more money because they don't have to pay someone to do it but I haven't felt the savings of that in my pocket. Here I dont pay them for me to do the work. I love that!

Today is 3/7/2022. Just left this Harris Teeter, and as it has happened before, I found butter that went out of date in January! I had stopped shopping at this store for this same reason last year. Not only did I have to flag someone to help me in dairy, one associate tried to help by asking someone to assist me but the help never showed up. Whatever happened to great customer service? Please, find a way to communicate with your associates when assisting a customer. Walkie talkies? I then asked another associate for help and he said he couldn’t help me. Later, a young lady named Nadia walked by and offered to help. I handed her the butter that was out of date and asked her if she could check in dairy if there were more eggs in the back. She walked towards the front of the store and comes back to tell me there were no more, per the dairy manager. I had called 30 mins prior and I was assured there was enough product. No problem. Did the dairy manager actually checked? Who knows. The store manager, Mike, kept on walking, as I was telling Nadia that I found product and needed to know the price but there was no tag anywhere on the shelf. We couldn’t find the product at all. I thanked her for her assistance. As I mentioned earlier, I have had two instances before when I purchased dairy products just to come home and find out they were out of date. Not just one occasion , or one product. I never went back for a refund for those products. Why? Because I chose not to give you my money anymore. Today, I decided to stop by because I was closer to the store. But I won’t shop here anymore for groceries. You have lost my business.
