Do not recommend this place considering other and better ranges in the area! Save your money!!! The staff were EXTREMELY rude and not understanding at all, check in was a complete hassle and the RULES of this place is ridiculous. Other ranges nearby are significantly better with friendlier staff and more friendly rules in regards to clay shooting. Safety here is also a low rating as the rifle section is very small and compact space with hardly any breaks given during firing time. The targets we bought couldn't even be changed out since they gave ZERO breaks and to make matters worse they wouldn't give us a refund for them because we rolled the targets slightly. Please please please spend your money elsewhere at better ranges nearby. First time at this range and i will NEVER be coming back!

My buddy and I visited Oak Tree Gun Club recently and paid nearly $100 for 20 minutes of trigger time at the pistol range (we paid for an hour, but ran out of ammo.) After that, we walked over to the shotgun range to buy shells and pay for a round of skeet. At that time, we were informed that our money was no good because there were only 40 minutes until closing time. That seemed odd because we were willing to pay, had brought our own shotguns and equipment, and there was plenty of time and daylight left for a game before the range closed. There were no notices posted saying that the range closed at 5pm, we were told the range closed at 6pm. No big deal, we'll just go back to the pistol range and spend the rest of the hour we paid for plinking steel, right? No. Upon returning to the pistol range, we were informed that, by returning the weapons we borrowed and paid for, we had forfeited our remaining 40 minutes at the range and that there were no refunds. Again, this was odd considering that we were willing to pay for additional rentals and ammo. The staff were very rude and unapologetic explaining their policy of closing the ranges an hour before the posted closing time. My friends and I will not be returning. Upon reading many reviews, it seems that several people have recently had negative experiences at this range including price gouging, rude staff, and unreasonable policies and procedures. If you've been here before and had a great experience, think twice before coming back.

This is my 2nd time. Coming to Oak Tree Gun Club. My good friend is a member for years. I will be coming here a lot from now on. The staff here are really nice and helpful. You can rent guns or bring your own. To make things easier. You can fill out the paper online before you come. I like it here cause it's not too crowded. The staff are laid back. Unlike other ranges that get made for rapid firing. We had fun here it was a great day. Can't wait to come back.

Great ranges with very friendly staff. There is plenty of room for everyone to shoot, and the steel gallery for pistol shooting is a lot of fun. They finally added online liability waivers which makes check-in much faster. Prices on guns are decent and there are plenty of rentals available.

Yes you can, you will need to come into the store with Your information, the Rifles information, as well as the dealer it is coming from. It is $75 for the transfer, plus California Sales Tax and Background check.
They do not sell any blackpowder bullets or powder at oaktree gun club but if you ask a rso uou can shoot blackpowder guns there
Assuming you are not a prohibited person because of a prior felony conviction, you need to take an exam at your local gun store to attain a firearms safety certificate. If you pass, then your certificate will be good for 5 years. You show the certificate each time you purchase a firearm. You will complete paperwork and pay a state fee to authorize a background check. You will wait 10 days before you can accept transfer of your firearm. When you pick up the firearm you will be asked to show that you understand some very basic functions. No shooting though. The best course of action is to enroll in a basic firearms class first before you take the exam. This will allow you to learn MORE than you need to pass the exam. You even get to shoot in class so you find out what shooting is really like. The instructor will probably even help you choose a firearm. Education and training is key to safety and skill building.
Oak Tree has a great class to learn how to use a firearm. They teach safety, laws and you can take the certification test as well. I took it and would recommend it.

Yes, no Magnum rounds on the steel range but other than that you can shoot just about any gun you have.
They have two retail stores. One has a general selection of firearms, the other specializes on Beretta shotguns. And they sell archery equipment.
Absolutely! And sense the highway patrol and local police departments train there daily it will make for visual environment for everyone attending.
As long is the kid is over 6 years old and you have your ID and sign some safety waivers you can shoot with your kid there as specific shooting events for younger people I believe there's a 22 event at rifle they hold but you would have to call oak tree to get confirmation to as it may be a different rifle range that does it
They allow Tula as long as the actual bullet itself is nonmagnetic if the bullet is magnetic you have to have special permission to use Mainly only after it's rained because the ammunition has caused fires on the range before
Most of the year there is a fire hazard warning. A spark from a round off a rock could cause a fire.
Great place for beginners.
Yes they have AR 15's as well as other rifles such as A.K 47's along with their ammunitions. They have a extensive selection on available rifles to rent and buy. Various accessories like optics, extra magazines, etc. for purchase too.
They have a dining hall with TV's where meals can be ordered by the family while you go enjoy the ranges.
Yes
They charge like 20-50 for the shotgun, 10 for ammo and i think 40¢ per clay ,and 8 to shoot
Lots of different options. Awesome range. You'll love it there. I only visited once, but if I lived local I would be a member.
