Intoxicated, but parked at Rancho Bernardo area requiring sobering up at facility. Not arrested. He lied and told me the Vista facility closed (they never close). So, he drives me from RB all the way down to the downtown San Diego facility (1960 built rat hole). It cost me $50 for Uber ride back to RB. It would have cost me $13 from Vista facility back to RB.

My husband had our car towed after we parked it nearby while we rented a car from a local rental agency. There was no signage that he noticed relating to no parking on that street. We can’t understand why the car was towed and why the charge was $520. We are trying desperately to do everything right and I don’t understand why this happened. 😭

Traffic on Midland Rd and Edgemoor, starting from the stop sign, has gotten out of control with racing off the stop sign going towards Poway Rd. I have lived in the condos for 18 years and I have not seen 1 ticket written or a car pulled over for racing, passing cars pulling away from the stop sign. This all happens right in front of Midland Elementary school and our homes. It happens EVERYDAY. Why is the highway patrol in Poway not addressing this dangerous issue. Are you waiting till someone gets run down or dies? This is the Historical street in Poway and the department IS NOT ensuring safety on our street. The officers have some of their meals at the Hamburger Factory daily. Why not spend 1 week on monitoring the traffic from morning to night and send a message to the public the speed limit is 35 miles per hour when children are not present. Not 0 to 60 in 5 seconds.

A couple months ago, I got pulled over for having 2016 tags. I'm grateful that the officer didn't have my truck towed that day which would've cost me a bundle! If he had my truck towed that day it also would've caused another critical situation since I had my 3 dogs with me. The officer let me call a friend and allowed me to leave my truck parked there in bank parking lot corner Community & Poway Rd. Since then I've passed smog and am all paid up on my registration...which made a dent in my pocket but if this nice Officer had it towed, the overall cost would've prohibited me from get my truck back anytime soon if at all. Thanks PPD
