I needed to request a special request. I submitted my request and had a call back within one hour. A live professional person called me and had everything set up for me. What a wonderful breath of fresh air. More businesses need to get back to personal customer service like EDCO 👍👍👍👍

The CEO of this company should make an attempt to reach ANYBODY by calling his company. I have tried over the last three days to reach someone and have had NO success. I’ve been a customer for 20 years but would gladly have Waste Management service my account but because of the long term contracts these companies have with individual communities defeats the competitive choice one would like to exercise. This company rates a -1 with me!

I have been with EDCO for 22 years and they have been great in every way. Last week I forgot to get my trash out in time and when I called they were very respectful and had someone back within 15 minutes. Yes I paid a small fee but that's to be expected. What I was surprised by was how quickly they responded. I have also rented large dumpsters from them several times and always with no problems. I think they are fantastic.

Don't go to this place, they are dishonest...I went 3 times to drop off my plastic bottles for recycling..The first two times I was paid a fair amount I guess because they were close in price, however, today I go there and I have the same two bags of plastic bottles filled tightly like always..The weight on the receipt was 6lbs and I was paid $7.56 . The last two times I went the weight was 9.5 lbs. and I was paid $11.97, the other time I was paid $10.33. They never let you see the weight and as soon as he weighed it he threw the plastic bottles in the bin so fast before I could say anything.When he told me the price I knew I got ripped off...Make sure if you go there you see the weight for yourself.It is sad that in this day and age people are still dishonest...Shame on you Sir.....you know who you are... I called to talk to someone and waited almost 15 minutes for someone to pick up. When he did he told me that I have to talk to the guy Jesus in the Escondido center, and they never picked up. Why would I talk to someone in another center to begin with? He was sending me on a wild goose chase and that is why I am writing this review...Had someone been able to help me this review probably wouldn't have gotten written...

They will drop a extra green can off for 15$ and there is no extra charge for the can up to 6 months

Usually you just call them and they will replace it. From what I remember, it's free to do so, but I am not 100% sure.
Our community does not have "green waste" containers. Does the Christmas tree get thrown in the trash?
I don't know EDCO'S requirement. My previous recycling company required the paint be solidified with an aditive so the paint would not leak out of the can. They also asked that paint be brought to the recycling location. In San Marcos the EDCO recycling is on Las Pas. Their plastic recycling is closed through the Covid-19, but the other recycling is open by going into the dock building and asking for help from workers with orange shirts. EDCO customer service is still answering the phones. They can give you the best answer.
If they don't accept and assuming they are working, you might try: Goodwill DAV Habitat for Humanity
Call them and request it. They will replace the bin at the next (or following week) pick up day

Yes! If you are a Commercial or residential customer , you can call our Customer Service agents and schedule a bulky item pickup very quickly and easily.
Residential customers can request additional Recycle carts free of charge.
Currently we are not taken mattresses at this location.
You cannot drop it off, you need to call the office and ask them to pick up your missed trash. If you did not call trash won't be picked up.

They work with trash collect. I am not sure if they have other kind of jobs on the company. Sorry, I can't help. But try to call the location. Or show up in person to find out.
Sorry, l can't help. I don't like to deal with EDCO, I think they are greed and have bad customer service, it's all I can say about it but anyway good luck to get a dumpster.

Most likely because you had things that weren’t recyclable in there. They’re very strict with that rule and for good reason. Just for future reference; if you have a question for a company that provides a PUBLIC service and want an accurate answer, you need to call the company’s customer service number...NOT post on their Google Maps business page...
