BEAUTIFLLY restored and well kept State Historic Park. You can contact the ranger to have a look inside the museum, and get a guided tour with the ranger(s) at the park. Please keep the lake clean and free of bread and cereal. If you want to feed the birds, ducks or geese, please ask the ranger what to bring. PLEASE stay at a distance from these wild life as there are many of them, and only one of you. 🤣 Be warned!!! Enjoy your walk and time in the Sun!

A cute CA state park with lots of grass and a small lake with ducks and geese. There is an adobe house too where elementary school kids take field trips to. There's no play equipment, basketball or tennis courts. It's more of a place to relax. There are also a few benches with tables to have a quick bite.

Go to the main building and enquire. We went to an outdoor wedding hosted by the lake 2 weeks ago. Check the website.
It was yesterday. It is always the Saturday before Easter.
I have never seen a wedding there but plenty of decent sized birthdays and even large school functions and public concerts. I would imagine you can yes. Go to the first building on your left ans find the open door with the park ranger and I am sure they can tell you. With parties it is first come first serve unless you plan with the ranger and they can reserve an area you want so I would imagine it would be similar for a wedding?
There are 2 charcoal grills in the picnic area in the orange grove. You will need to contact the park to reserve them.
