Available recreation options are great and will be even better with the new Tommy's Field. The park will have a full sized soccer field, a u10 field, aidans place play area, outdoor basketball courts and newly refinished indoor courts. Racketball , tennis, gymnastics, a pottery kiln, stage, meeting rooms and indoor pool round out the rec options. Summer camps and other programs available once covid is in the rear view mirror. Two substantial issues exist: safe bathrooms and runaway homeless encampments. Let's hope those are resolved soon.

Right now the rec center is being used as a temporary shelter, I'm currently staying in one of the campers because of Covid-19. The campers are nice, may need some maintenance here and there. Radio was working, now it's not working. No TV. The food is pretty much garbage, a lot of processed meats, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And oh, my camper door lock is broken.

tennis courts recently got better lights. Much improved tennis playing experience. Usually plenty of parking in the lot accessed from Sepulveda

There will not be a dog park this is a park for people old and young and for children not for animals. I haven't been to a dog park in the big city yet that has successfully had grass usually they're urine and poop soaked dirt that stinks disgustingly 😀
