Fun place to walk. Plenty of seating. Cool views of the surrounding architecture and buildings in the area. They have a play area and shaded areas as well. Neat little park with artful designs.

Love this spot, great place with Free WiFi. You'll definitely see homeless people but they are pretty nice. Great place as a tourist to relax and plan your next stop!

This is an awesome breakfast spot. The coffee drinks are put in cups the size of soup bowls - you basically are getting two cups for one! The chai latte was delicious, and my wife liked her matcha latte. The breakfast was delicious as well. The pastries were fresh and tasty: I enjoyed a blueberry scone and chocolate croissant. I also had a the avocado toast, which was made perfectly!

A bright revitalized downtown-square park. I like this park for its attractive landscaping mixture of desert plants, abstract art shapes and the urban dwelling dog run(s). The park is somewhat popular during the day with residents of high rise apartments and condo’s, area hotel guests, the business community and the homeless. Although it has the potential to be a vibrant centerpiece town square, it seems to have fallen by the wayside, a bit more than city and civic leaders would like to admit! Unless there’s a large event planned for here, it remains to be seen as to whether this space will become anything more than a big landscaped parking structure roof with crisscrossing pathways. Giving credit where credit is due, the park has been cleaned up. And the City of Los Angeles has been making functional and visual improvements here. Security measures of surveillance cameras, signage, visible patrols and night lighting have increased the public confidence! I don’t recommend this park as a must-see place to go, as there’s nothing of any great interest to draw upon, or go out of one’s way for. Still, if in the area, I’d say it’s nice to see this park, if just for the urban sky scape along the way! There is access thru the Pershing Square Station for the Metro Rail subway service, just across S. Hill Street, at 5th Street. The small green structure outside the station entrance is a restroom with an attendant.

Yes, American Express gift cards are gladly accepted.
No, they don't allow anyone without a ticket. You can keep checking for tickets on Eventbright, they sometimes wait to give more out as it gets close to the event.
