Today a policeman at information center at ECPD helped switching from big to little car seat for my 15 months old granddaughter. He did it approx 10 mins. That was fast. I guess he's a Dad. I'm glad that I got help. Thank you! ( wish I asked for his badge ID number)

Two weeks ago i informed to ECPD about a credit card skimming ring. I had videos, photos and the location of the suspect. The SGT and two other came to the hotel where the suspect was staying to take a statement. This was fast and I felt like we might get somewhere. I was so wrong. They said they need a room number of the hotel room where he was staying. They suggested I get that for them they were busy. I followed up with the hotel they informed me that he was staying there still. I let the officers know. A week went by because the two beat cops were off and no one else in the dept including the Sgt to work the case. So by the time the officer was on duty to follow up he informed me the suspect was no longer staying at the hotel. For all i know he never even went back to see. I am more then disappointed in the ECPD. This case was on a golden platter for them. So you know el cajon has a major problem with credit card skimming and our ECPD doesnt care one bit about it. Think twice about living or visiting El Cajon you are not safe or protected. Best of Luck El Cajon.

Too much! I have had bad experiences with them for no apparent reasons, and I'm strait laced and white! I believe these guys are on edge due to current terrorism/police shootings, I suppose I would be as well, but that doesn't make it right, must be held accountable and new training that can oppose today's threats (a more manageable and effective training) but for now the police are looking worse based on poor response actions, until then everyone should be terrified! Who would ever expect that the biggest liars in court are the police/law enforcement themselves, very disappointing for society!

there isn't much you can do because that is public Access now if they begin to intentionally harass you that becomes 415 which is a bookable cause for citation

if you have residence in the house you don't have to leave. The attorneys will work it out. If he or she gets violent call the police and get a restraining order. WORKED for me!

I believe a court order or restraining order. It is complicated if thus person has been saying there for a while. The court order will start the eviction process. Even if the guest is threatening, the police went help you. I know of a person who went through hell and almost had to move.
This happened to me . People are jerks and complain about parking, so they report it abandoned. Call the non emergency police line. Have the vin or plate number. They will give you the name. They often use Clancy towing. It is a couple hundred plus 45$ a day.
Call the station or look for sign where you were parked that stated "No Parking Tow zone" and call the number listed on sign.

Nothing. They don't care. Sorry but true. I had a crazy knife wielding man under the influence come in to my apartment complex during the day while kids were playing out side. He was acting crazy and scaring the kids. I called them and they would not come.
