One might think I only rate 5 stars but that’s because I love eating so much that I research nearly every meal I eat when I’m out of town. While in town for work I ate here and since I’m a guy that knows what he loves, I didn’t really get to explorre the menu. Both times I had the spicy swordfish sandwich with fries. Without hyperbole, this is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. The swordfish was fried in little chunks and mixed with hot and tarter sauce then put on sourdough bread. It wasn’t much to look at but man oh man was it tasty. Definitely worth a stop!

Food - 4.5 Vibe - 4 Service - 4.5 Price - 4 Seafood by the sea shore. What you want in a fish market, incredible fish with an even cooler market experience. Make sure you sit up on the roof to see the breathe taking view of the Marina.

Busy but quick. Went for dining. Had a freshly prepared quality meal in ample portion. Always fun to sit outside by the docks. Overall clean and enjoyable experience.

Fresh very well prepared seafood in a very casual setting with great view over the marina/bay. Food served in paper containers hot and delicious. Nothing fancy just excellent seafood done well. Portions are generous providing an amazing value for the money. The selection from the huge display cases pretty much covers any seafood that you may want. Looks like the seafood is all processed for cooking on site adding to the freshness. Always stop here for a meal when in town.

I saw live Dungeness Crabs there about a week ago... not sure if that's always true...
I don't think so, their focus is more local caught product.
They start serving lunch at 10:30 or 11. They start selling fish at 9am.
Great idea on a tip to the clean up staff. I am sure that they are on the bottom of the pay scale. Appreciation is always welcome. Heading there today and looking forward to the squid steak strips, the best.
No but there is lots of decent tables outside that are covered
No
I don't believe there is but I'm not 100% sure. It's best to call
I would give them a call. Point Loma Seafood moves litterally stacks of lobsters and my guess if you ask you likely can get?
Yes, Point Loma Seafood's always has a great selection of live lobster, most times live crab. They always have fresh seafood. Very good sushi grade seafood. Great place to get small shrimp and use there house made cocktail sauce for a great take home snack. Best service in point Loma. This is a SD jewel. Worth the wait at any time... My favorite is the fish sandwich.
No
They don't ship. Best thing to do is if you have a friend that can ship it for you if they live in SD.
I don't know but the Teriyaki fish jerky is to die for
Monday to Saturday 9am to 7pm Sunday 10am to 7pm They start serving food at 10:30am.
Sorry but no. Point Loma Seafoods will be closed on New Year's day.
