I have been shopping at this sprouts location for years. Lately the help in the meat and deli department has gone downhill steadily. Yesterday I was at the deli counter and waited 10 minutes before a staff member finally came out to assist me. The staff member was not friendly at all and looked like he didn’t care a bit about his job. The area where he cut the deli meats were full of deli scraps and just looked like no one cleans up during the day. I then went over to the meat counter and several people were waiting and were told the meat butcher was on lunch and to come back in about 20 minutes. One lady said she came by about 20 minutes earlier and waited and finally left then came back to find out the meat staff was at lunch and left again. I believe senior management at sprouts corporate is responsible for this issue. They must either underpay their staff or overwork their staff so they just don’t care. Keep in mind that if you don’t take care of the customer your competition will. I’m no longer a fan of the Sprouts in Oceanside. I hope you can resolve this issue.

I'm new to the area, and I see Sprouts! I think to myself, yea! I love Sprouts! Except, I don't love this location. I had a great experience shopping for the items I wanted. But the check out process was really annoying. The guy who rung my things up, insisted on throwing sending with a good force to the end of the cashwrap, my produce that I carefully selected. I don't want to PAY someone to bruise it! So, I said, "Woa. Easy fella." And you know he can't say he wasn't aware of what he was doing, BECAUSE HE SAID SORRY. In a half way apologetic manner. Ha! You're busted! But why are you throwing my food items, anyway?! So, after I checked out and bagged my items, he was waiting on the lady behind me and carefully moving her produce to the other side of the scale. I said, "Why did you throw my items and not hers?" He just glared at me. OK. The only difference between me and the other person was that she's white. So, what's the issue? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Do you hate your job? Get reassigned. Do you hate serving the public? Get reassigned. It seems like you're in the wrong profession.

It is $8.57 for a lb of ground turkey. Seems super expensive to me. The cashier was nice but she was totally distracted and not super quick. All in all, I will probably go here again. Get the app first, so you can attempt to save some money. That is how you use coupons here, not typing in your phone number like other stores.

Overpriced on everything for people that demand boutique/organic food. Millennials and vegetarian weirdos are the target. Worst experience: ordering a Thanksgiving meal. Expected to pick up a warm homemade-type meal midday Thanksgiving day. Turned out nothing was prepared at Sprouts, and it was all frozen (including the turkey, despite the fact that it was precooked). Took hours to thaw and reheat...huge mistake.
