My review is based on my experience there as a full time barber student. I graduated May 2022. Travis the owner and head instructor is very patient when it comes to teaching. An important quality in an instructor. Both he and the other instructor Kenny are extremely passionate about cutting hair and have decades of experience. They provide realistic and appropriate critiques when observing you cutting hair. They give proper feedback to make sure your cut is as successful as possible The physical school itself is clean, organized, and cared for. Trisha Alo said it best in her review, “It’s a well kept school.” In addition to the great instructors, one of the things I like best about the school is that you get the opportunity to cut all hair types, from straight, to curly, coarse, wavelength, all ages and ethnicities. You will be forced to get over your fears of cutting hair that is “different” than what you expected to cut. After your time at this school you will be comfortable with anyone that sits in your chair. Tons of hands on experience, in school demos from experienced barbers in the field, everyday classroom learning, practical experience, and in depth business advice, this is an all around professional school that will get you ready for your new career!

Best barber school! This was the best Making this decision to enroll at west coast barber college has been the best choice I've made. I've never cut hair before attending school at west coast, and now I am working in a shop. Travis, Kenny, and everyone at West Coast were helpful, friendly, and more than willing to share everything they knew.

Writing a review for this barber shop and staff. This is a great shop to go to for low price cuts but also great quality. I wanted to write this review to Jose aka Joe the barber as he was the one who gave my son and myself a cut. He is a great barber and has the passion of cutting hair so you know you will be getting a great cut. As he was cutting my hair the owner of the shop and his teachers walked up and said that the fade was one of the cleanest ones they have ever seen him do. So if you are looking to get a great cut and have a good conversation look for Jose next time you walk in.

Probably one of the best schools I’ve ever been too! My name is Christopher Vazquez and I was a student at west coast barber college and my experience there was great can’t ask for better instructors than Travis and Kenny, it’s definitely a place where if your looking for a new skill as a barber then you need to stop looking and come here. I never was into schooling or the best at it, so in the beginning it was kind of a struggle BUT both Travis and Kenny will help and work with you throughout your time in school and be patient with you. I came in not knowing anything at ALL about barbering and that was okay because of how great the instructors were with me and making sure they didn’t leave my side and stood there with during my haircuts. If a person who is interested in barber school you will have the most practice compared to others from how great the location is and the variety of different kinds of people that walk in. Again if your looking for a new skill in becoming a barber then this is the school to come to, I can confidently say I know how to give a good haircut, learned professionalism and sanitary as a barber. Other schools will just show how to past the state board test and that’s it.
