This is a great little restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. Our waitress Sam was terrific. She knew the menu very well and was super helpful getting some special accommodations for my order. The food was delicious. It’s definitely worth a stop in here if you are traveling through or if you’re local.

I wanted to take my wife on a date to a local restaurant that we’ve never tried. I discovered Black a sheep Cafe and the idea of Native American cuisine sounded interesting. We ordered the spicy shrimp and cheese grits as an appetizer, which was outstanding! We ordered the chimichanga and blue tortilla enchiladas, both of which were also very tasty. We had a side of Rosemary fries, which were okay. Overall, the food was a very good portion size and tasted fresh. It was all delicious and we were happy that we came. Prices were a bit high, which we expected, but it was a great experience. Would definitely come again.

Their Navajo tacos are their most popular menu item but their burgers are their hidden gem. The blue burger is absolutely amazing. It's got some sort of sweet jam, with crispy bacon, and a perfectly cooked patty. THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT are the sweet potato wedges. They are by far the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, it's similar in consistency to deep-fried plantains. My only compliant is their inconsistency. Sometimes their burgers have 3x the lettuce than meat and last time I went, their sweet potato wedges were burned.

I was in Utah and wanted to try a Native American restaurant. Black Sheep did not disappoint. Coming from NYC, we are definitely food snobs. We shared a lavender honey fried bread and it was light and tasty. Our waitress recommended the G.O.A.T burger and not only was it huge, it tasted really good. I would definitely go back to try more.

Nothing serious. They pack the restaurant with customers. Employees wear masks. Be advised.
We have three outside tables that can accommodate pets, as long as they are leashed. Of course, service animals required for a disability and trained for a specific task, are welcome to accompany you into the dining room, as long as they are harnessed, leashed or tethered.
Yes
Yes, and I would recommend making them... especially if you want to go on a Friday or Saturday
He's one of the owners, yes. Along with his 2 sisters.
Yes. But it's really set toward adults. The food is great. Try the wedge salad.
