PARKING AT THE COMMUNITY PARK. The trails start there behind the baseball fields, just look for the trails among the hills. Or, you can walk through the pretty neighborhoods for a couple streets. The trail itself wasn't terribly hard; I had my 3 month old in a carrier, and I did stumble a bit on loose rocks, but go slow and the views are very cool. Here's a pic I took on the way back to the Community Park, took it by stumbling over a rock and violently shaking my phone.

Great little up and down got in 1300 ft

Would have given 5 stars for the perfect distance (4 miles round trip), elavation gain (1,000 feet), and clear path. But I got spoiled by recent trip to Bryce and Zion and their views.

Great trail. See the All Trails app for more info and photos.

The fire road almost goes to the peak. The road ends at two powerline towers. From there you can hike a small trail to the very top. It's a broad, open area at the top.
