I always love Food City. Great deals on fresh produce and fresh meat; beef, chicken and pork to name a few. The meat boxes are a steal at 19.99 for beef, chicken, pork and hamburger.

Cashiers are rude and have no customer service skills. I was patiently waiting in line. When the cashier got to me she got out her register and put it on top of her register counting her money as if I wasn't there. Customers started coming sh offered no response not even to myself. She could of asked me to wait. I began telling the getting in line it was going to take a moment another line would be faster. As I did Christina's (cashier) told me that I could go to another line as well. Very rudely. I have encounters with a few other cashiers. Allowing customers to go in front of me without even asking me. Not mention the older man who has no customer service skills and is slow on purpose as if he hates his job! I have been going to this store for 10 year. But no more. I would rather pay for better service!

Ever since Eddie Basha passed away the place became very pricey and the warmth that Eddie radiated to his customers and his employees vanished. The family business has now been sold to another concern they no longer have any say so in the business.

I usually only go to Food City to put money on my electric box and sometimes I buy my produce here. The produce is always a good price and nice quality to. Nothing bad to say. My husband loves the hot food counter. He stops in at least 3 times a week to get a green chili burrito. Big burrito for a decent price, it could feed 2 people. Just make sure you ask for cheese or they don't put it on.
