Major concern is with the power on their camp sites. Check it when you check in and check it periodically during your stay. Doing so may save you some repairs. Don't think that because you have a surge protector, you are safe, that would not be true. We lost a main air conditioner and 3 fans… $$$$$$. Other than that, we enjoyed this campground.

If you are tired of the noise of the city and traffic; Thousands trails, wilderness lakes, is a nice little place to rest. The campground is 3 miles east of the 215 fwy. Newport exit. They have some fairly new cottages, all sizes, with all amenities. There are grocery stores and great restaurants a couple of miles away if you decide not to BBQ. Kids and adults swimming pools, Jacuzzi, activities, laundry and a mini store. It's great for a long weekend. My family liked it a lot. We will definitely be returning. Contact them for a great deal on different locations.

We've been here many times since 2014 as our grown kids/families live in surrounding areas. It may not be the fanciest RV park around but it is the most welcoming by the staff no matter where they're working or riding around checking on everything. They are always friendly & smiling and most often give our dobie, Sara, a treat and always say hello on their way by. I don't know why some people complain about residents in the park because I don't know who they are talking about. All RVers here seem friendly, say hello & wave. Dogs are always on leashes as they should be and it's clear the people who work here do like all the pets at the sites. Most sites have plenty of room on each side for families and parking. Two downsides: not enough 50AMP sites in my opinion plus 1000 Trails should have a rule that rigs 25ft or less should NOT be able to park in 50AMP. That is not this park's rule; that is 1000 Trails rule that should be changed in my opinion. It is maddening to see a teacup rig in a 50amp taking space when there are so many 30amps available! Some people complained in these reviews that we are on our own to find a spot when we arrive; I think that's fine because the sites at this RV park are all different so it's our choice to find one we like. We usually get here late, find a 30amp then go on the hunt the next day for a 50amp. No park is perfect but the staff and management here are tops in my book!!!

Wonderful campsite. The staff goes out of their way to help. Facilities are clean and wel-maintained. We have stayed here 4 different times and just absolutely love it. I am pretty confused by negative reviews of this place. It is truly excellent.

There is no waiting list as a lot of the monthly people have moved out.The cost for month to month is 795.00 lease sites are diff. Price. You don't need to be a member its open to the public.besides When you are monthly you are not on your membership.
Yes you can. However, it's day to day dependant on the fire hazard. They keep it posted at the front gate to say wether or not you're allowed for that day. Make sure to check.
It is first come first find a space so if you need 50 amp it is limited
You should contact Thousand Trails regarding membership cost. Many different options.
Call the office and ask to be put on the waiting list foronth to month, also you could book as many with in a 60 days in advance.
Yes the do. A full service store is available
I don't know what a pidet motor home is and it would be better if you called them for restrictions
Jabba wifi is available for purchase for up to 4 devices. Currently $30/month.
Yes for guests
Yes, once they come out of hibernation. They are out when is hot, usually from April to October.
It depends on what you're trying to do. Day passes are only open for members of the community. However if you just wanted to come in with your RV and stay for one night you would have to call in advance and make a Reservation and it's $65.00 Dollars per night.
We went 2nd week of May and they had not restocked the lakes in preparation for maintenance and upgrades. It sounded like there was gonna be no fish all summer long.
Not sure if there are public monthly rates. Thousand trails members with the right options can stay 3-4 weeks w/ 1 week out in between. I suggest looking into TT zone pass for 1 yr.
Between 6 and 8
I'm a member, thus I don't know. Whatever it is, it's worth it! Except for the flies (when it's hot), this is a beautiful place with great amenities and gorgeous sunsets!
I am a member of Colorado River Resort I only have to pay $10 a night at Thousand Trails here because I am a member I don't know what it would cost for anyone else that wasn't a member
Currently $1500 plus membership fees
Yes!! 😉
No
I have AT&T too. The service was good. It's not far from the city.
Yes, they have a designated tent area or you can place a tent with your RV.
Yeah. If you visit for the day, i think it's like around 10 dollars.
You can stay in a monthly site for 6 months then you have to leave for a week before you can come back
Yes, it is my understanding that tents are allowed in RV sites, even without an RV. They also have specific tent sites available.
No. https://www.rvonthego.com/california/wilderness-lakes-rv-resort
They do have storage, for members. $100/month. Access only during daylight hours.
They have lots of RV spots for your rig, reservation is a must. You can check rates at https://www.rvonthego.com/california/wilderness-lakes-rv-resort/?utm_source=yext&utm_medium=directory&utm_campaign=Yext%20Directory%20Listing
From the lack of anglers, I'd have to say, NOT during fall/winter months
No electricity for hookup in the storage area.
You may fish but must check in and I believe make a small payment to fish for the day without reserving an overnight space.
It used to be the second Thursday of every month but you can call the ranger station and they would be able to tell you
Thousand Trails, Wilderness Lakes Campground 30605 Briggs Rd, Menifee, CA 92584
$100.00mo. / $1000.00yr
This is a lovely park. You can buy a long-term lease for about $5,000 per year. However, you can only use the space for about seven months out of twelve. I suggest you contact the sales office for full details. The 'phone number is on the website.
Double check w/ activities BUT Halloween is BIG they have haunted house, trick or treating, & many folks decorate their campsites up for Halloween as well
