Pechanga RV Resort

I have “glamped” at Pechanga about a dozen times and they have all been great…….except this last time (July 18-23). I made reservations about two months ahead of time so this shouldn’t have been an issue. We arrived at our site (C002) and quickly found zero shade, the tree had been cut down. All of the grass was dead and only dirt remained. This space is directly next to the pool which means hours and hours of screaming kids, whooting, loud parents and endless MARCO…..POLO…..MARCO……POLO. Oir stay was from Monday through Saturday so we requested to be moved to a spot less DEAD. We were told we could move but we would again have to move on Friday to accommodate weekend campers. We were told they were completely full and no other options were available. We declined and dealt with our DEAD, brown and noisy spot. Saturday arrived and we had to leave which is when we discovered at least a dozen open and empty camp sites we could have been moved to. I’m not sure why the office staff would lie to me about this but it was wrong. For the amount it cost to camp there for the week, moving our camp site should not have been an issue. I’m not sure if pechanga will get any further business from me or anyone I tell this to. Very disappointed!!!!!

While the place looks nice, the afternoon winds are ridiculous. Every day, from 13:00 - 18:00 you need to make sure everything is secured. It gets very windy. I also had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the after hours staff. There was another camper 2 rows a way from us with their music blaring, so they could hear it from their RV, while swimming in the pool. When I called to ask a staff member (Moringa) to have them speak with the guest, they told me they will not address the problem until 23:00 (quiet hour). I'm sorry, I am a guest there as well, with the expectation to enjoy my campsite in peace. I will not be returning and do NOT recommend this place. Machines seemed very tight as well.

We had a very nice corner space, felt very private. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Security and shuttle were great. Would definitely recommend, and l am sure we will be coming back.

We had a very nice view of the trash bins. With nice breeze we got a whiff of them too. On Sunday Morning they decide to do maintenance on the water system. Water was turned off while my wife was in the shower had to finish washing hair with bottled water. Nothing was said of water being turned off when we checked in. At some point someone left paper work on table outside. No note about water being turned off. We did receive a email about water being turned off about a half hour before it was turned off.Which was not seen until well after event. Called to speak to Manager was told no Manager available. Which I would think Sunday is one of your busier days of the week and you do not have a Manager on duty. I cannot recommend that any body stay at this place it is a joke. This place is not even subpar. For what Pechanga charges this is far from the Ritz. This place is not worth the money. I know that me saying this is not going to break this place. I won’t be back even if they give me free stays or nights.
