Incredible, perfect crab! Loved eating here and would love to come back. The steak and shrimp were excellent as well. Great location right in the heart of south beach on Ocean Drive, with plenty of outdoor seating. Service was friendly and prompt.

CJ's was real good. Quick and attentive service. Delicious food. We were literally licking our plates clean. Can't wait to come back!

O my! The food was out of this world! The shrimp was the best I have ever had period! Crab cake was fresh with zero filler and they can cook a steak to boot! The atmosphere and views were exactly what you would expect from a restaurant like this, right on the strip out door dining at its best! If you are in the area this is worth the stop..... I will be back!!!!

I dined here while on vacation with my partner. We were seated promptly outside. Our server (who I think might have been the owner but didn't introduce himself as such) was polite and had wonderful recommendations. We ordered: Fried Popcorn Shrimp: this appetizer was great. Exactly what you'd expect. Crab cake dinner: the plating was lack-luster but the cakes were fantastic. The corn was cooked and seasoned well. 1-pound snow crab dinner: cooked very well and easy to shell. Miami Vice cocktail: very good, tasty frozen cocktail. Didn't 'wow' but didn't disappoint. Notes: many people smoke while they dine on ocean drive, especially cigars and pot. If this bothers you, request to sit inside.or go earlier in the day to avoid the evening crowd. You will have to find metered parking or a parking garage and walk to the restaurant. Overall: it was a pleasant experience and if I visited again, I'd go here for lunch.

We remodeled the interior with new tile and a new bar, new chairs and new paint in September 2018. We're so glad you like it. Thanks
Yes
If you're allergic to seafood, do not eat anything here that would have been cooked in the same area as seafood, such as fried chicken fingers since the oil is used to cook the fried shrimp and fish as well. The steak and grilled or blackened chicken is ok to eat along with the salads. Make sure to let your server know you're allergic to seafood so that they can notify the chef to insure your safety. I had the lobster tail with crab leg cluster was great
CJ's doesn't take reservations, we look forward to serving you.
CJ's observes all restaurant safety guidelines recommended and implemented by the State of Florida, County of Miami-Dade and City of Miami Beach. These include the basics like sanitizing each table and chair after it is used, 6' of separation between chairs, mask requirements when not seated, hand washing and sanitizing by staff, masks worn by all cooks and dishwashers as well. We look forward to serving you.
They don't take reservations.
you can see the menu on our website at www.cjscrabshack.com/menu.
No, Joe's is still around and is located on South Pointe Drive on the South end of Miami Beach.
See our menu at www.cjscrabshack.com for a full list of our menu items and pricing. We look forward to serving you.
You can order anything off of our menu to go. We look forward to serving you. CJ's
Miami Beach as well as many communities around the country are passing ordinances preventing "Happy Hour" so CJ's decided to have Happy Hour every hour we're open on our drinks menu. We also have specials every evening. We look forward to serving you. CJ's
When we first opened, we were able to get both local blue crabs as well as sometimes being able to snatch some Chesapeake Bay Blues. Unfortunately, those days have come to an end. The large fisheries buy up all of the live blue crabs today so that they can sell us the crab meat at a premium. You still get great fresh crab meat in your crab cakes, crab dip and on those dishes where crab meat is added, but unfortunately, we don't have the blue crabs you can pick and eat anymore. We miss the bucket of crabs too. We do have both Snow Crab Clusters and Alaskan King Crab. We look forward to serving you.
Yes, legs of snow crab and alaskan king crab and stone crab claws
Best prices and portions on south beach. You wont find red lobster or long john silvers on the beach. Try little havana for inexpensive food.
