Always great. Our server Michael Lee was amazing. He helped us order appetizers, meals and desserts that fit us. He explained everything perfectly. He was all over the place making sure everyone at our table had everything they needed. My wife can't eat seafood and mike made sure she ate good and felt comfortable about no allergy issues. He suggest good drinks. Our table had the Salmon, stone crab, burgers and salads along with a bunch of different side. The skinny sweet fries we so good. Well all the food was good. The creme brulee, bread pudding, key lime pie, and lava cake for desserts. Wow. All good but bread pudding was the best. Overall loved it. Thanks to all the staff at Joe's and thanks again big Michael.

My friends and I had a reservation for a weekday evening which didn't seem TOO busy. We waited for a bit to have us sit down but they did give us an option to sit indoors or outdoors. So we decided to sit down outdoors per requested since the weather seemed nice. We had a lovely waiter that provided us recs throughout our dinner experience as well as delicious bread as start offs. The Mussels and Stone Crabs are a must when you're here! Other fun add ons were lobster mac & cheese, and sea scallops. We also had spinach and fried chicken but weren't as impression comparatively to the other dishes we had. If you're around the area, I'd highly recommend checking this restaurant out!

Overall my friends and I enjoyed our experience at Joe’s. The service was excellent and the food was top quality and delicious. The reason for only 3 stars would be our potato hash browns were burnt as you can see and we’re not seasoned. Also, my friend and I were told the seafood combo was enough to share when really it wasn’t (as one entree for 2 people). The sides were plentiful to share, it was some of the best creamed spinach and brussel sprouts we have ever had. They key lime pie was great too. The seafood was excellent quality and delicious, I just wish they would’ve said, “this is about two pieces of each seafood item” then we would’ve ordered more. Other than that it was excellent and we will return.

Ordered the Large crab. Portions are good sized (5-6 claws). Also got the scallops, which tasted incredible! And the spinach side was really good too. Pricy (as expected) but great food and outstanding service. Reservations strongly recommended. If weather is nice, the outdoor seating area is a very good option!

Dress pants and a shirt are perfect. We do not have a formal dress code.
We are in the middle of spring break and we saw people eating there with nice shorts and button down shirts.
Unlike other reviews here reservations are NEVER taken for the main restaurant. Large pre planned parties in a separate room of course. To my understanding Joes has never accepted reservations. The wait can be long, yes. Get there at or just after 5 and you will be seated right away as long as everyone is there.
Our waiting time was 4 hours Are then somewhere else was too stupid for us Lobsterbar almost next door was awesome in comparison
They open Oct. 15th. That's the start of stone crab season.
Does anyone know what day in August the stone crabs restaurant opens in Miami?
Yes. Go next door to the Cafe's. They even pack to take on a plane for a nominal fee.
Not at Joe’s but during the off season you may find stone crabs that were kept frozen in other restaurants.
Yes they are all year long can also call the restaurant to ask
I think you can ask to have them steam, but either cold or hot, they are very good, such great taste
No clue you will need to call them
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from mid Oct to mid May. We then switch to a summer schedule. We are open for dinner only, Tues to Sun, from the middle of May to the end of July. The restaurant then closes until mid Oct. Our Take Away Cafe is open from Aug 1st to the middle of May, so you can always join us year round.
One serving is usually 1.5 lbs per order you can also order by the pound
Its a decent place, i personally wouldn't wear shorts. I'm sure you can reserve for one.

If you are coming in for lunch, we suggest coming in between 11:30am and 12:30pm. For dinner, between 5 and 6pm.

Yes Joe's Stone Crab will open during the week of November 22nd but not for The 25th.
Yes
Yes. We had some last night
We do take reservations through Resy.com. It is not necessary, as we do not book the entire restaurant with reservations. We encourage and invite walk-ins. Hope to see you soon!
No they don't. Just plan to have a drink or two at the bar and it will all work out fine
No, Joe's closes for the summer months. I do not know the exact dates. Closes around late May reopens in Sept.
It's cute, very formal but quite expensive, anyway has a careful attention, good
It's very safe. The passport need only be seen to verify that the person and the credit card are the same. They just take your card and they bring it back to you.
And
11:30-2:30, 5:00-10pm , fri and sat till 11pm
We called on a weeknight and they said they did not take reservations. Maybe it is a weeknight thing.
October 15th through May 15th but if you are there soon enough after the end of the season, they still have some although they will go quickly.
Yes, but with a summer menu.
You'll wait a long time for a table to be assigned and if it's a group ... Uff
I believe it closes middle of May and reopens in October Maybe
Sure thing....
Please, check your website. I think they open all year.
They are open in May. They usually close the last week of July.
Usually in the last week of July.
They don't take reservations but place get filled up real quick I suggest to get in when they first open
That I don't know my best recommendation is to call them but one thing I can say my God that restaurant is the best in the land thus far. I can't wait until we go back only if I stayed in Miami I think I will go visit that place once a month.. they specialize in everything you want to eat. I would recommend everyone to go there. I would say bon appetit. And happy eating
Yes
We will be open for both lunch and dinner. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 2:30 and dinner from 5 to 10pm.
We are happy to share the recipe with you. Can we email it to you?
No charge but you can't bring in any wine that they sell on their menu.
o
Your best bet is to give them a call directly and go from there, don't go by what the the people here have to say as most of them don't really know what's going on and you could get bad information.
You have two options, valet parking right at the restaurant entrance or self parking, subject to space availability, across the street from Joe's take away
Just google it man
Yes for dinner, not lunch. Good luck getting in without reservations though (and even with!)
Thank you for your interest in dining with us. We do not take reservations, so it is best to arrive between 5pm and 6pm. After that, the wait can be an hour or more. We do have a great inside bar and outside garden area where you can enjoy drinks and appetizers while you wait. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Yes, anywhere in the United States except Puerto Rico or Hawaii
Not necessary, but you strongly advise to come once their open the door. We were lucky we can get the table as walk in guest.
They do not work with reservation any day. To be able to go, you must validate the schedule in which they work and arrive half an hour in advance so that you can eat on the first shift. The wait can be long (more than 1 hour) but it is totally worth it, especially if you are going to eat Stone Crabs. They are the best in the world! It is quite an experience to eat there! Do not miss the opportunity.
They can seat hundreds throughout. For large parties best to call.
Just opened for Stone Crab season last weekend. Always an amazing meal....
The restaurant will reopen on Oct 12th at 5pm. Currently, the Take Away Cafe is open, Tues to Sun. During the week, they open at 11am and on Sat & Sun at 10am. They stay open until 9pm.
Yes
Omg. That's a real hard question because they have different sizes different amounts and combined with other sides... I suggest you stop by and look at the menu during the day so you can plan your dinner for the night. Rigo 😀
I don't understand
You have to valet or park across the street. You can have free valet, It depends on how much you spend. Their valet is not expensive anyway.
Joe's sauce comes with order, made with mustard and butter plus seasoning
Yep, but fresh season is about over.
Never had shrimp the... always have the stone crabs... that is what they're known for. You can get shrimp anywhere!!!
May 13 mothers day is the last official day of joes season and the summer session will begin prob on the 15 with summer hours wiCVh differ from the season i.e lunch will not be served and on mondays the restaurant will be closed
Use airbnb
There are two options for dinning, one is a takeout side. Very casual, the restaurant side is a little more formal I would say no to shorts
Nope. And they run a wait list even at lunch. But our lunch meal at Joe's is on my top 10 meals of my life.
They usually boil them.
No clue
No
No reservations. I "checked in", was told 2 hour wait, and went for a walk to get gelato before dinner. I got back about 15 min before my 2 hour wait was up, and it works great!
I guess so. They do not accept reservations
Free parking across the street slightly to the right .
No way. You nay wait if waiting is not to long
Drop them off, most likely
