I have generally received EXCELLENT customer service and quality products from this store. My only complaint is that when I explained I was buying paint for my baby's nursery they did not warn me about the VOCs in paint or explore any low VOC options. I should have been more aware but in the excitement of the project I forgot but when the room continues to smell of paint fumes three days later - I am in deep regret.

I am pretty bummed about my first experience walking into the store today. I really enjoy supporting small, local businesses and normally experience great customer service. I went to the back of the store where the paint swatches were to find the perfect color for my job and there was a lady (who by all accounts was working there) and a customer chatting for at least 5 minutes (ironically about running profitable businesses) without even acknowledging my presence. As I walked out of the store a person behind the counter (who by the looks of it was helping two other people at the same time) did ask me if I found what I needed - but it was a bit too late for that. The selection looked great and there were professionals there buying paint and supplies, so clearly they are doing something right. Unfortunately, my experience was lacking.

I've been going here - and sending clients here - for about 10 years - many of the same people are working there. Super knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I truly enjoy going here. It's all Benjamin Moore in the paint department, but they have other products for stains, etc. Excellent color consultant as well. The place is one of the best retail stores in the city, IMO. For homeowners, note that they're closed on Sundays.
