I had awesome service from the gentleman working today, 3/18. He was so patient and explained things perfectly.

The Newport DMV is, by far, the best DMV I’ve ever been too. They are very friendly. There is almost never a wait, and if there is it’s very short. They have you in and out of there really fast.

Kent greeted me at the door and he's one of the most lovely person I've ever met. They are nice and pretty fast considering that every other DMV I've been too takes hours. They pretty much had me in and out after helping me resolve my issue.

Attempted to make an appointment online but couldn’t find what I was looking for out of the reasons for scheduling so I decided to call (of course on a Monday first thing in the morning so there was a decent wait time). When I was connected, Roy answered and was very patient and helpful, making the call quick and easy. The kind staff is what sets this DMV apart from the rest.

Around $200 for Oregon plates and new tags. You need title signed over, bill of sale, drivers license and maybe proof of insurance. You do NOT ever need to worry about D.E.Q. emissions tests at all for tags or registration renewal. Just Tags alone cost $90
Can I get tags without title transfer
I believe you can
Yes, open from 9:00 to 5:00.
Hardy anyone there was in and out in No time very pleasant staff.
no appointments at this particular office.
$44.50 I just looked it up to be certain. It says.... Acceptable proof of US citizenship ( so birth certificate will work ) Current full legal name & date of birth ( again birth certificate will work for this too ) social security number ( social security card will work ) I trying find specific concrete options for showing of these requirements but couldn't that... The Newport office is open they're really nice and quick. I did not need to make an appointment. I hope this helps.
Yeah. Everything takes even a little longer but it's almost all back to regular old DMV procedure.
Call DMV office....they have walk-in 10 am to 3 pm
You can go to the DMV website and take a small test to see if you need an appointment if not you can do it only via the website
Please look it up on the dmv website. They have guidelines there.
Sorry I'm not sure
Don't know sry
Yes
You can get it now. Just to play it safe bring your current valid license, social security card, and a bill with your current address in your name. (But you'll just need the license if it's still valid)
Sounds like you have all the information and documents needed to transact this sale. Come on over.
Anything shorter than 3-4 months you must have a parent declare you have spent X amount of hours behind the wheel.
Yes
There is no posting saying no. So mostly yes.
Typically, the DMV charges $81for up to 10 feet and $6.75 per additional foot
Don't know. I went in asking for one and they suggested to get an Oregon driver's license instead, which I did. And for that my friend its $5 for the written exam....and $65 for the license of you pass it.
