There are now only a total of 3 Skating Rinks in Oregon, including the Dual Ice/Roller Rink in K-Falls that switches as season changes. Of the 3, Parkview has the friendliest "All Ages" Vibe where their "All Volunteer Staff" go out of their way insuring you and everyone around you is treated like the "Community Family" they consider you. Though the rink is a bit smaller than those we competed on in the 70's, the session schedule at Parkview provides 6 days and 11 opportunities to get your groove on with smaller crowds being afternoon or Sunday Sessions. But what really fits this community well with Parkview is the Pricing! For less than $10 you can skate 2hrs, skates included, and have change to quinch your thirst in the snack bar! Outdoor Skating is in Full Bloom Globally! More so than I've seen in my 45 years skating, which is fantastic for Urban or Metro Cities. One day, Roseburg will expand its mindset and think outside the box- by creating attractions that "Attract" rather than scrambling to retain! The demand is all around us, waiting for a special place to make a Home... Lot of folks think Roller Skating is making a comeback. "Umm it never fazed out, but yes as in normal life cycles every 50 years previous trends come full circle at Twice The Demand!" You haven't noticed? When's the last time you saw a CD in a store? Vinyl Is Back, "Disco and Electronic Funk/Dance, EDM, Raves, all Huge with today's generation...all were central pulse of the Roller Industry 1968-1981. You don't want to miss the Energy creating a powerful fun vibe this time...Parkview Skate Center will bring you "Alive and Spinning!"

An oasis in a roller rink dessert. The rink has all your skating rink standards; arcade games, snack bar, skate rentals, party rooms, music, skate accessories, novelty toys, black lights, mirror balls, skate lessons, skate team and hockey. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are eager to help and are often cross trained in several positions within the facility. Their main goal is skater safety while having fun during skate sessions. Ashley goes out of her way to take care of customers, staff and facility, so I'm surprised by the negative comments. The staff all have to deal with a lot of poorly supervised kids, difficult families and entitled customers; which has increased since the start of the pandemic. All rules and dress codes are clearly posted in the entry lobby and a recording of the rule are played at the beginning of each skate session. Management is always onsite and quickly attend to any issues that may arise. The snack bar offers a large selection from candy to combo meals. The kitchen is small and equipped as a snack bar, not a restaurant, so families trying to order large meals should expect the food temp to reflect the issue of accommodating large orders during peak hours. Different sessions days and times offer different crowd experiences. Speed skating, backwards skate, and games last for one song and are scheduled throughout the session to allow skaters to practice skills and alleviate boredom for the younger skaters. Skate mates are available to rent for skaters wanting extra assistance but limited as they are not recommended for development of proper skating technique and can be a hazard to other skaters.

This place is great. Not much things to do but skating is a option. I have been going for 3 years and it's been fun. Staff is great. The food is decent. And it runs through Tuesday Thursday Friday sauderday Sunday for at least 2 hour. 5 bucks for admission and 1.50 for quads, 3.00 for inlines

I come often have a lot of friends here I see often I’ve grown fond of everyone and the staff but there is one lady I won’t say names but she is kinda just mean makes me quiet sad sense I personally, try my best with everyone to treat everyone with a great deal of respect and joy. Kind of rlly just made me sad and ruined my night. My experience there is always fun but kind of tainted now given the curtain person

It's still open. They have specific open skating times based on the day of the week. Check their Facebook page or website for details.

Saturday: 1-3pm & 7-9pm
Yes
yes it opens at 7
Yes, the floor is well- maintained for skating.
No they are closed today and tomorrow
Yes. They offer full service for roller skates.
It costs $95 per hour to have a private party. If you want to pay for the guests' skate rental, it's additional. There are food options to add as well. We rented the whole skating rink for two hours and that was just the right amount of time. Would not recommend less than that as it takes time for all your guests to get their skates on, and then the cake took up some time plus gift opening (we had a birthday party). The staff are super flexible and helpful. Definitely worth the money!
Admission is 5 dollars, every Saturday night is cheap skate, admission is 1 dollar, skate rental not included
They have good rental skates
A quad is a rollerskate that has 2 wheels on each side of the skate insted of in a straight line.
