Each year they shown exceptional initiative in creating a new refreshed event so as to maintain the high reputation and credibility of the Dinner. Sponsors and attendees alike have returned each year because of the value Sequoia produce. They are able to operate seamlessly in a highly demanding environment. I've had the amazing opportunity to attend G'Day LA and the Governor's Ball preview party this year. Both events were beautifully done with gorgeous decor, fabulous food and drink and overall FUN. I'm astounded how well organized and efficient they were given so many attendees. Furthermore, I've had the privilege of hearing Gary Levitt's lectures on 3 Crystal cruises. He was engaging, informative and truly entertaining in discussing Sequoia's events for the Oscars and Emmys and tributes to Henry Mancini, Stephen Schwartz and others. I would highly recommend Gary and Sequoia for any event planning needs.

Having now worked with Sequoia Productions for the past 7 years I feel confident about writing this review. I have had the pleasure of working on the Oscars Governors Ball, Primetime Emmy Governors Ball, G'DAY USA, Wallis Presents: to name a few and have always found them to be extremely creative, attentive to detail and receptive to outside input from Technical Directors like myself. Cheryl and Gary are always fun to work with and expect more from themselves than they do from those that work with them. They put together teams that have the passion for what they do and create a unified team to pull of some amazing events. I would recommend them to handle any size project and know they would put all efforts towards making it spectacular.

I cannot recommend Sequoia enough! We first engaged with them for a last-minute event takeover and in an extremely short time they made our vision come to life. The photos of our presence have been circulated over and over again throughout our company, and I almost feel guilty accepting all the praise when the Sequoia team was truly behind it all. As I said to my colleague, "we couldn't even throw Sequoia a 'curve ball' request" -- because in their world of making things happen and making ideas come to life, there's no such thing as a curve ball. The icing on the cake was my close working relationship with Gary Levitt, who is the ultimate professional and nothing short of a delight. We will be working with Sequoia every opportunity we get!

We are based in Los Angeles but produce event all over the USA and the world. Internationally, we have produced events in Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, China and South Africa.
Sequoia Productions' vendor relationships allow the company to negotiate the best possible discounts for your event. They also have relationships with product Brands in all categories and depending on the event and the opportunity for showcasing their brand, may be willing to donate product to your event, thus elevating your guest experience while helping to reduce your budget expenditures.
Our team of profession producers have been involved in many varied types of events. For the Corporate Community our events have included Medical Center and Hospital openings, Awards Galas, Non-Profit Fundraising Events, Meetings and Conferences, Brand Activations, Concerts and Live Shows, Retreats and Team Building Weekends. On the Social side we have produced Weddings, Anniversaries, Holiday Celebrations, Birthdays and Milestone Celebrations to name a few.
We can do both. We have worked alongside and collaborated with several designers and coordinators to produce an event. In some instances, the in-house Events Department of an Organization will take on certain categories and ask us to produce the rest.
Some of the larger more complex events require months of planning. We have however, produced events in as little as 2 weeks’ notice.
We maintain transparent and timely client communication throughout the conception, coordination, production and management phases. We discuss a system of communication plan that best serves our clients and that can include calls and meetings on predetermined regularity. We pride ourselves on clear and regular communication to make sure our clients are in the loop of the production progress.
Sequoia Productions charges a percentage of the overall budget or a minimal fee, depending on the type of event and the work involved. We are always available to discuss our fees once we have a better understanding of the event and what it entails.
We have produced many Corporate and Social events for many clients. Those events have included formal Galas, Fundraising events for Non-Profits, Shows and Concerts, Weddings, Brand Activations, Meetings and Conferences and Milestone Celebrations, to name a few. Guest counts for these events have ranges from 50 to 10,000.
Sequoia Productions has worked with many vendors and have developed strong relationships which allows us to negotiate the best pricing on your behalf. However, there are many excellent vendors we have not worked with and would be willing to work with any vendor that has a proven record of professionalism, great work ethic and reliability.
A main point person will be assigned to your event. Depending on the size of the event additional team members will become part of the team to ensure that every element of your event is produced and executed perfectly.
While we are known for our large events, we produce events of all sizes. No matter what the size, type or complexity of your event we devote the same attention to detail and execution for a successful outcome. Your celebration is tailor-made to your requests, tastes and personal preferences to ensure that your event is a unique celebration.
