I have not been to all the other tours yet so I can't say it's the best. But I can say I had a great time and can't imagine the others being lots better. My only issue is they use a tablet a lot to show you some of its past history in a way that is very entertaining and interesting however if it's a sunny day you can't see much and if it's a busy day you can see 1 or 2 other groups nearby just finishing or starting the same clips you stopped to watch. I understand why this is what it is but it does make the tour feel slighlty by the numbers. Other than that it's great if you can request a tour guide ask for Daniel has charm and Herculean knowledge of the entire studio and clearly loves his job.

The Paramount Studio Tour was one of the highlights of our week in LA. The 2 hour tour was well worth the price of admission!! Our Tour Guide, Katy, was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely knowledgeable, fun, accommodating and patient! She made sure to show us items that interested us specifically, such as Elvis' personal concrete etching or anything Lucy (Lucille Ball) related. The tour left me wanting to learn more about Paramount and its history. I highly recommend the Paramount Tour as part of any trip to the LA area. You won't be disappointed!!

We had a small group of four, which made the tour so much fun & personable! Our tour guide was super personable and even asked us about our favorite movies to tailor the tour to things we loved along with the standard tour! He added a lot of flair to such a surreal experience! We even saw a celeb on our ride! Thank you Spencer for being so kind & taking us along!

If you are a movie lover (specially classics) you will enjoy the visit to Paramount Pictures Studio. The guide gave us a lot of insight and back stories of movies shot here. A bit hard to access by public transport.

Keven is right you have to reserve your tour they only have so many tours per day , just getting there and trying to go on a tour , is a bad idea. Week days are the best , because they do have live shows happing while you tour, so before booking a tour , ask them what days that they will have special live shows or if they are filming a live film so you can see the live filming on your tour . Its really cool . Done it a few times. ❤️👌
Perfect of you like movies and series. They take you to all the locations and show you some of the props they use. You may get lucky and walk into one of the sets.
$ 60 for the basic 2 hour tour per person Basic tour per person $ 60
You should make reservations before you drive there. The tours are small size and do fill up. The studio does an AMAZING job to try and keep you with you group
You get the tickets in the Paramount website, its near the 50$
I did the night tour. I liked the little background stories about artists, there love and tragic death. It is telling more about the dark and creepy parts than exclusively showing how movies are made. It was very interesting to see the cemetery of the stars by night. I enjoyed it..
Not at the moment
It is not operating right now, but tickets are on sale through the website for May.
It's still active, producing films and keeping Viacom alive
There's still no tours. Not till January.
No, not yet.
Always!
I went a couple of weeks ago and yes, the sets were part of the tour, but it was before shooting restarted for the New Year so not sure if it is still part of the tour still once shooting recommended.
We saw the set because there was no filming taking place when we visited. If there's filming, you can't go in.
In car or in bus.
Yes it is much older than that.
Yes. You can buy your ticket online or at the door. It is busier on weekends
Idk, apply maybe? :)
We booked ahead which made things very easy. The people ahead of us booked at the door. A chance IMHO.
Sorry not part of the tour because don't exist anymore
Yeah it's a guided tour, it's a place of business where folks are actively working, so you won't be able to explore the grounds, only very near the sites they take you. In fact, our Page almost took us into the Theater before he saw a Closed sign, and thought out aloud that he could have been in big trouble for just taking us into the atrium. And no, they take you back out through the gift shop, and out the exit, so you can't go back to explore.
We got a cab from our hotel (in Santa Monica). It took us door to door. That's the best way to get there. Pre-booking of the Studio tour is highly recommended. Visit Paramount.com for details
Building to the left of the main entrance is where the tour starts. You can collect pre booked tickets here or just turn up and get on the first available slot. The parking is directly opposite ( there is a charge but it's not a fortune )
Michael Bay is in Santa Monica as Bay Films
Ask a PA or AD if you're near an active/hot film set. They may also tell you the best entrance too.
I believe there is a student discount
To answer the question in German: It was $ 58 per person for a tour. The tour lasted a good 2 hours
