We really liked this home as it fit our family perfectly and is in a perfect location. Just a 20 minute walk to the village. It has a nice big deck off a fairly private area and we spend a lot of time gathering there. The bike path is out there and we enjoy people watching as well. It also has a nice great room so the 6 of us could gather comfortably inside as well. Larger group than that will find it hard to all be together. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and there were lots of extra towels for the hot tub or SHARC. And it was nice having AC when it was hot during the day. On the flip side I will say a couple of the beds were somewhat uncomfortable, especially the lower bed of the bunks. Our 30 yr old son slept there and his back was killing him each morning. Also, the knives are duller than any I’ve ever used. Almost impossible to cut with. And the coffee pot is very cheap, no stopping to get a cup and it doesn’t turn off after two hours. All said, we love the staff at Village Properties and overall like the house and will likely stay again, just hopeful they might replace the mattress and sharpen the knives.

The house we rented was not the original house we secured on line. We were called a few days later saying we were bumped, even though we sent payment via credit card online, as reservations normally work. The house we ended up with is nice but dated and no AC which was terrible during an unexpected statewide heat wave. (7 Pine Needle). Upon arrival, it was obvious the house cleaners did a poor job. We needed to clean and dust to make it comfortable. We notified Village Properties but just received thank you's and have yet to hear any resolution. Again, the house is fine. The deck is lovely. If you rent it, you will be comfortable (as long as there is not a heat wave) and it is close to the river and to the village. That said, we are definitely weary of using Village Properties again even though we have in past. We love Sunriver but will likely use a different rental service in the future.

Coyote #9 Sunriver The Pros: - The house is very clean, and stocked with the basics you'll need. - Dog friendly, with a super cute welcome basket - A/C worked great - Outdated appliances didn't have an ice maker, but the hosts left us a bag of ice in the freezer. Nice touch! - Nice location to walk to the Village, and easy access to the bike trails. - Sharc passes included The Cons: - The beds are really really bad. Old boxspring style, squeaky and rock hard. I have never ached so bad laying on a mattress. Horrible. - Watch out for the bored resident neighbor who will report every little infraction they see. Kinda made the neighborhood less than welcoming. - They don't disclose that you are not allowed to bring utility trailers to haul kayaks, bikes, etc. into Sunriver. We had to scramble to find a storage lot for our trailer and pay the $25/night storage fee. It would be nice to know this beforehand. - The house does have bikes available (nice touch), but they are old and not in great shape. We had a bad injury when one collapsed while riding. - Note that the train track is RIGHT behind this house. It sounds like a train is going through the bedroom.

Loved having the 3 master suites with each having their own bathroom. The deck sitting was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time outside with some sunshine. House is dated and needs some TLC with new carpeting, painting the inside as well as the deck, but I am sure this is why the pricing appears to be lower than other rentals. Nice having two TV viewing areas however the big screen TV did not have a DVD available to use with it, so we were forced to watch our movies on the smaller screen TV upstairs. Total bummer especially knowing how inexpensive DVD players are, there should have been one for each TV. The house temperature was tough to control as there was only one master system which created a very cold downstairs when the upstairs was just right. The Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cooking dishes but could really use some new dinnerware as it was not very appealing eating off the cracked dinner plates. All and all even with our minor disappointments, we truly enjoyed our stay and would consider renting here again.

Outside food is prohibited at the SHARC facility. For your convenience a concession stand is provided by SHARC to purchase snacks and beverages.
Yes, for a $75 charge we offer a late check out at 2pm if the home is not booked to be occupied later that day. If the home is booked to be occupied that evening, we cannot offer a late check out as it would not provide enough time between guests for proper cleaning.
Sunriver is: 20 miles (20 min drive) from Mt. Bachelor 17 miles (20 min drive) from Bend 22 miles (30 min drive) from Paulina Falls
If your home offers SHARC passes they are kept in the home and access to them is available upon check in.
If you booked your home through a partner website such as VRBO or AirBnB your bill will never match ours as we do not have access to the fees they charge. For the best rates, book directly through out site at village-properties.com or give us a call at 800-786-7483. Also, refunds for cancelled bookings are processed much quicker when you book direct.
There are various locations to put in and take out for a fun river float. The best bet is to consult with the rental company you rent your kayak, paddle board, or floats through. Some of them provide a shuttle service at the put in/out points for you.
Yes! Use your SHARC passes to access the tennis court in your neighborhood. During the summer it is best to call Tennis Hill (the Sunriver HOA) to reserve a court at 541-593-2411.
Maybe. To ensure that our homes are properly cleaned and stocked between guest visits, we do not allow access to the home prior to 4:30 pm unless they are opened by our Quality Control team. However, we’d like to get your vacation started ASAP and if you call our office the day before your arrival and leave your cell number with us we will call you when the home is ready!
If SHARC passes are included in your rental the home description will state so and your passes will be in the home upon arrival. If you’re staying in a home that does not include SHARC passes from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day weekend, don’t worry! Bring your SHARC receipts to our office at 56835 Venture Lane and receive a 50% rebate on their price of admission to the SHARC. Also, if you’d like to check out the Sunriver Fitness and Aquatic center, come on in to pick up your FREE days passes. Just ask one of our front desk personnel for your pass.
Bikes are an amenity provided by each homeowner. Some homeowners opt not to provide them with their rental and there are no guarantees on condition and rideability of the bikes in the home.
