Check the weather and maybe don't do what I did and show up right as a heavy thunderstorm is rolling it. Got two steps up the tower before the lightening and rain started. Hid underneath for a bit and managed to keep the cameras dry. I'm sure the view up top is nice but I was a bit weirded out by the storm to climb up there. The path around the base of the tower is nice too.

View of the marsh was limited due to overgrowth of flora, but there was a nice breeze and a terrific view of one hole on the golf course…

Is there parking available nearby? We tried to drive over but couldn't find anywhere to park the car.

No...unless u park on the street near homes. Best to ride bikes

Is there a public entrance? We tried going, but was told it is private access only with the route google maps gave.
