Check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING! Make sure you don't have any plans after going to the store. You will wait in the checkout line just as long, or longer, than it takes you to do your shopping. It would be great if they had more than 1 person manning the check-out.

This is one a few stores done right, slow paced, relaxing if you can call it that. Prices are reasonable but with a Safeway card it's cheap and yet the quality is great.

This Safeway is not as good as it once was. The weekly deals they never have out on the shelves. If there is a good deal on meat. its not a deal at all. If it is say buy get one free or half off. They jack the prices up so your not getting any kind of deal. They just want you to think you are. Or like they have a good cut of meat priced low per lb. Then they never have any out in the cases. And they don't give out rain checks any more. I'm not happy with this place

Definitely check the expiration dates. I accidentally bought 2 packages of expired perishables here last week. And this isn't the first time I've gotten screwed letting my guard down at this store

Yes they do take bottle returns still at that location, as it is a fairly long distance to the Delta Park can return. Fred Meyer in the area, both in St Johns and on Interstate, no longer take cans and bottles. Cheers!

The machine is closed permanently you have to go into the store to the self-checkout area and the cashier who's running the self-checkout will have one of the attendants come out and hand count your cans as for the hours they don't go too late like maybe 7 or 8 the latest
Safeway has one. Large one at Delta Park by Lowe's.
They have several varieties of cheese, however, I'm not sure if they carry that.
