Great way for a quick after work run with my pup, then shopped for dog treats near by, and pick up my groceries! Everything is within minutes. Well maintained path plenty of space for exercising and sniffing (puppy lol)

What a great little secret this wonderful trail is. The markers along the way describing what the area was like about 18,000 BC are fascinating.. Take your time and read the signs. Great walk but the current boardwalk sadly ends abruptly. I was gratified to see a sign there last week that stated that the long term plan was to lengthen that boardwalk at the end of the hike substantially. That would be terrific! Most of us would like to see it become a lengthy trail. Its a beautiful place to walk through. 2/15/2022 addition to above..... Plans are now underway to lengthen the walkway where it currently ends at the end of the wooden walkway and when done, later this year (??) the trail will continue directly on to Brown's Ferry Park, another great area filled with many picnic benches and numerous areas to just sit beside the wonderful Tualatin River and enjoy the beauty of this area. Hopefully the plans will also include an extension beyond Brown's Ferry Park to pick up the trail again to continue on the currently existing Tualatin River Greenway trail beyond Brown's Ferry Park.

It was a nice pleasant walk, but it ended at the bridge with no warning.

Travel back in time all the way to the Ice Age. The bike path along the river is a timeline marking years, centuries, millennia, epochs of Geological events. One end is the I-5 underpass. The other end is the Tualatin public library which has an ice-age Mastodon fossilized skeleton on display along with loads of other fossils and kid friendly educational materials. There is also offshoots along the bike path with boulders brought there in the great ice-age floods that shaped the Clombia River gorge and Willamette valley, plus lots more fun educational signs.

It's a terrific trail and extremely well done. The map placed flat on the ground showing the flood waters 16,000 yers ago should be power washed. It's very difficult to read. I was gratified to see a sign there last week saying that the long term plan is to extend that wonderful boardwalk. As it is its a bit sad. Most of us would like to walk much further through the beautiful area! I walk there frequently and savor the moments. By crossing the main street in Tualatin to the other side of the street and walking two blocks to the left you will come to where the trail continues into Cook Park. It's wonderful!!!
Tualatin Public Library and yes, it is the start of the trail.
Not 100% sure but I've seen others walk/run with their dog on the trail as they are on a short leash, maybe 6 feet in length or so.
Tualatin Library is a good spot.
