I didn't purchase a car from this dealership, but they did sell a car to one of my co-workers. From my perspective, the staff of this establishment took advantage of a single mom in need of a car to meet her transportation needs of her life. They sold her a $2000 lemon without any hesitancy...knowing the car was a "mechanics special", which means that it is a car with known issues to be sold to a mechanic for flipping...not a single mother with the need for a reliable car. When we confronted the staff they stuck to their story that their hands were tied because the customer signed an AS-IS contract. While this is true, this car is now DEAD in a shop after owning the vehicle for a month. The company is not taking any ownership over the situation and they claim their hands are clean in the situation. Companies that don't consider the real human needs of their customers don't deserve business. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will continue to tell this story to our community until they agree to fix their lack of consciousness and care for customers that are in personal hardships. They would have been better off not selling a struggling single mom a car at all. Now she has to work harder to dig herself out of a hole that she was already in.

Bobbie in maintenance is very condescending when talking to you. And when challenged with it, he then takes on the teacher tone to explain he is just "having a conversation " with you.. my car has been needing a replacement part for 3months. 3. Months... I made another appointment thinking that Bobbie had forgotten about me, as there s no communication about the service center still waiting on the part. When I arrived he had the aggrieved attitude as though I was ruining his whole day by suggesting that I "just come in" on the basis that I am unaware of the status of the part. To which Bobbie informed me "What? Am I supposed to call you once a month with no update? It won't make the part get here." Like... with? I realize my pittance sale of 26000 is nothing on the grand spectrum of that dealership's sales. But.. just wow. At the inconsiderate attitude and lack of courtesy from the service department... Some of us don't live in Eugene and have to make a 150 mile round trip just to get the work done, sir. So maybe.. just maybe some common courtesy would be appreciated. On another note. My salesman, Mark. Above excellent. Very communicative about everything. Even if it's just a question that he won't benefit from. The salesman shouldn't be geld accountable for the shoddy maintenance department representatives.

I took my 2009 Hyundai Tucson in to get the TPMS fixed, the light on my driver's dash board was light, they charged me 346 bucks and with in a few miles it was back contacted them told me it was a tyre sensor that was the problem be cause it was not the right oem found that was not the problem had it replaced with the proper one a 1058 tire pressure sensor, so I got builked out of 346 bucks for nothing and if you include the 61 I spent on the new proper sensor that put it over 400 bucks for NOTHING!!!! My advice go to a witch doctor before you go to Sheppard service department in either case the result will be the same except you will get a show with the witch doctors. UPDATE: I was on the phone with Hyundai Customer Service and although she basically said that even though no work was done and even if I could prove it there would be no refund , instead I am to go back to them for round two of there ineptitude, this time I may not get it back in working order and since I don't have a lawyer I have no desire to trust them frankly I have no faith in Sheppard Hyundai repair. If I could I would give them a minus 10 star across-the-board that includes Hyundai Customer Service corporate.

The best thing to do is call the parts department since they order from Volvo with your vin and receive a key cut to your car then set an appointment to have the key programmed to your car (bring all the keys for the vehicle).
