We had two consultations with Tina Collins at Tobener Ravenscroft on a lease dispute. Tina was tremendously knowledgeable and gave us actionable, valuable advice. Overall the experience from start to finish was very useful and positive.

My experience with Joe Tobener and Jackie Ravenscroft was beyond what I could have hoped for. I was in a very scary situation, very unsure of my rights and what was possible, and as soon as we started on the case I felt safe and protected. It was immediately clear that I was working with master lawyers, and I also felt that they really cared about me. I always felt like I had a warrior beside me, fighting to get the best possible resolution, and that is exactly what happened. I couldn’t give a stronger recommendation. Don’t try to do it alone. Trust me, it’s worth it.

We reached out to Tobener Ravenscroft when our apartment sustained water damage, and it went unresolved by our landlords for months. We were expecting our first baby and the stress from no repairs and circular communication was heavy. From our first call to the resolution, every interaction with Tobener Ravenscroft was impressive: they are knowledgeable, organized, responsive, articulate, and supportive. Stephanie, Joe, and Tiffany are not only the very BEST at what they do, but they are also real people who understood and cared about our frustrating situation. You will not regret calling the experts when you need help. Thank you, Stephanie, Joe, and Tiffany!

Single-family homes have eviction protection in San Francisco. A landlord must have a reason or just cause to evict. There are only fifteen reasons a landlord can evict under the San Francisco Rent Ordinance. It sounds like you are being wrongfully evicted. Please contact one of our San Francisco tenant lawyers to learn more. Call us at 415-504-2165.

I moved out of my apartment about 2 months ago; the landlord notoriously keeps deposits. He is saying he wants to wait until he finds new tenants before paying me back my deposit. What to do?
