I learned of the amazing Dr Mast from a friend who had Dr Mast replace BOTH hips at the same time. Her results gave her life back. I needed a hip replacement due to arthritis. I used to walk or hike easily 10 miles but could no longer walk pain free - and nor more than about 1.5 miles. Dr Mast's surgery had me out and about in a few days, and I am not exaggerating. I used a walker three days, just part time. I had no limp, even on day 1. I am pain free. My Physical Therapist tells me I do not really need PT. She has other patients who had hip surgery with Dr Mast, and they are all like me - returning to activities easily and quickly. I would recommend this Doctor 100%.

The secret is out: Dr. Mast is a time traveler* He came back from a highly advanced era to launch hip replacement into the far future. At least that’s one explanation for the phenomenal outcome of my surgery, recovery and new hip. Of course, not even an extraordinary surgeon can achieve outstanding results alone. Dr. Mast’s surgical team is exceptional. A very special thanks to one member in particular, Evar Saelee, or as I refer to him: No-Scar-Evar. A picture (unretouched) is worth, well, as many words as it takes to show you that Evar closed my incision with uncommon artistry. It will very soon be impossible to see. Until then, I display it proudly. As for my new hip, it operates as well as the original did when I was in my twenties (possibly better). Prior to surgery—which I put off for years out of fear—I was in constant, ever increasing pain and ultimately needed crutches to get around at all. I had suffered for so long that I couldn’t imagine being pain free again; yet now, I am! If you are questioning your choice of surgeons or hesitating out of fear (as I did), please put your concerns aside. Dr. Mast is truly the best. Dr. Mast and his team are exceptional. I had the best experience from first consultation through to my last physical therapy session. My only regret is that I waited so long to have the surgery. Dr. Mast is the gold standard for anterior hip replacement surgery.

Such and incredible experience. I went to Dr Mast for some hip pain and never did he pressure me into a replacement. We worked on a variety of different methods to help reduce pain and I'm making a fantastic recovery. After talking to several of his former patients, this seems to be a recurring theme! If you're suffering from hip pain, you HAVE to give them a call.
