This a hidden gem - a must visit, especially if you are traveling from Vegas to Zion - a short detour that’s worth every bit. Spectacular views and short easy hikes. If you are visiting during summer be mindful of the weather and carry loads of water or fill up at the visitor center. Entrance is 15$ (2022) for private vehicle. Spend up to 3-4hrs to see most points

Beautiful place to visit. Definitely must see if you visiting Nevada. Not crowded at all. Beautiful colors and rock formations and all of this for at a very low cost ! Entrance fee is per car. To fully enjoy this unique place - plan to stay whole day. During hot season go early in the morning to avoid the heat.

Valley of fire State Park! Wow I can't even begin to describe the beauty of this place. Here is just a few pics of it. First of all it is the most peaceful and quiet place. It looks like it's not even real at all. The weather was just perfect and sunny. I would advise you to wear enclosed shoes and have some water on you if you decide to hike around. There are wildlife out here like snakes etc so be careful of the holes in the ground. Also make sure you have enough gas in the tank Because it's a long way to a gas station and cell service might not be the best out there.

This place was amazing. My recommendation is to come early. The park is huge and you won’t want to rush the experience, you could be there all day and still not see it all. Overnight camping is permitted and there are plenty of day use areas perfect for a day long getaway! Make sure to look for Sheep as they are all over the park. Located only a short drive from Vegas, this is a must see!

Now , due to light pollution, it is best to be at high altitude. Mt passes , 6000 ft above sea level or higher are really good. It just depends on where you live.
What a question, lol. It's got a scenic drive of National Park proportion. Simply jaw dropping!
The whole park is pretty amazing, really... the beehives are climbable though
Yes, I think even better because the sun is at a lower angle in the sky and creates great lighting on the rock formations
Yes, plenty of picnic areas with bbq and they are covered with restrooms.too.
Yes. They have a specific area for RV's where you can hook up to water and electricity, but it's more expensive. If you have a trailer and are fine with just a spot it's a $10 camping fee.
