My family and I have been coming here for almost 30 years and always have a great time, but the level of service has deteriorated over the last 5 years and some of the lodgings need to be upgraded. Overall, if you're someone that enjoys the river, you have to roll with the punches.

Great place to escape to that's only a 2.5 hour drive from the Phoenix metro area. Family/couple/kid and pet friendly! The water on the Colorado River is cool and refreshing offering a break from the summer heat! 😎 The staff and other campers are welcoming and friendly. We love ❤️ it here! The trailers offered onsite are not well kept. They could use some much needed TLC.

This place is fun to be with the kiddos. I would rate it higher if they served food after 4PM. Ive brought the kids to swim and to grab a bite here but unfortunately, we had to leave to get dinner.. wish they served food, they would certainly make more money! Also, there is this very rude old lady on a motorized wheelchair wears a cowboy hat who is very "Karen" like. I have been here 4 times and seen her 3 times. She makes our experience not so fun.

Nice place to have a get away. Water pressure at my site was poor and wifi was non existent in my area. Food and drinks where good and reasonable prices. Staff was always friendly and eager to help. I haven't been there for 9 years and it's the same as I remember it to be. Good winter retreat.

I agree with the others it really just depends on the package u purchase. Just know their parks are all pretty dilapidated. So buyer beware...I have stayed at there parks regularly for over 10 years. I've seen them go down hill. Where bathrooms were out of order the whole time I was there two weeks. The toilets in the clubhouse were overflowing. The clubhouse actually used to be a nice place to hang out with swamp coolers that worked to keep it cool. They used to serve steak dinners every Saturday. Now the building is dirty and the furniture is run down and dirty. Please dont get me started on their other parks. How they sold memberships guaranteeing that you would not be limited to a specific number of stays. It happened. Now they only allow 6 at Cherry Valley Lakes.
There's better places to stay than here...just saying.
All pets allowed. If your renting a trailer or cottage from them you need to ask for the pet friendly ones and there's a 25 charge
Go to pool area you will have a blast no need for tv. Your camping
Are you or a family member an owner?, If so you are a guest, plan on parking off site
