If you’re looking for a world-class audio/visual experience with some of the world’s best DJs spanning different genres of edm, as well as hip hop, then look no further than Temple in San Francisco. 🔊✨👌🏼 The visuals in Temple are truly a sight to behold and the Void sound system is top of the line. I’ve been regularly attending Temple for 10+ years now and the upgrades they’ve made to the nightclub over the last five years have been nothing short of amazing. You truly have to experience in person to believe it. The staff is also friendly and helpful and does their best to cater to your needs. Danny, the current VIP host, always ensures you will have a great experience, should you choose to go the VIP route get a table/bottle service. The bottle service girls are also very friendly and helpful. Reign, in particular, who helped me recently is awesome! The VIP experience at Temple gives you great views from different parts of the nightclub depending on your preference. The balcony view in particular is awesome. Currently, Temple throws events from Thurs - Sat. Thurs is hip hop nite in the main room with edm in the room downstairs. Fri and Sat has some of the biggest DJs in edm playing the main room and they also have a hip hop room downstairs as well. Temple is one of my favorite nightclubs and I can’t recommend it enough. 😎👍🏼

Would not recommend. One of the worst nightclub experiences I've ever had. Bouncers had no idea how to distinguish real IDs versus fake, they ended up breaking multiple real IDs. The staff were completely on power trips and refused to listen to customers... Sad! The bouncer wearing the beanie hates fun.

Was in town for a funeral and got a ticket to see Cheat Codes on 3/6 Sat to help process it with some dancing. Presale line took about ~45min, moved faster than I thought it would. I’d be surprised if they didn’t break SFFD occupancy limits because you couldn’t walk once inside let alone dance, but the music was so bad you wouldn’t want to. Probably one of the worst EDM sets I’ve ever heard. Not the club’s fault, but the overcrowding was. My guess is that the DJ’s were too high to know how bad it sounded. It was so atrocious I left after 30-45min. A number of people I talked to didn’t think it was them given how horrible it sounded, but they seemed to match the photos. Lighting was impressive but hard to appreciate because only space to stand was in the back or side by the bars unless you enjoy being squeezed like a sardine. Folks working the door were respectful, folks working the bar and coat check were friendly.

My review is based on my experience in VIP so please take this review with this in mind. It was my first time at Temple SF with a group of my friends celebrating a birthday and the team at temple were excellent. The host, Danny, made setting up a table incredibly easy and he was able to be flexible working with me due to some unexpected changes. Our bottle service host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Security checks Vax cards which is reassuring and made getting in a smooth process. Now to the venue. Wow. I've been to a lot of clubs around the world but for a medium sized club Temple definitely ranks somewhere in the top. The vertical light panel and overall production gives Temple its unique flare. The VIP area is also thoughtfully spaced out where it's close enough to GA to feel the energy but still plenty of private space for a large group. Great job Temple team, you made my group's San Francisco weekend a blast! We will be back when we're in the area.

No, it's 21+
No
Hi. We are a 21+ club. Occasionally we have special events that are 18+.
Over 21
Hi! We are not open tonight. We will be open Thursday-Sat. It is 21+
The first war which is the main floor is EDM house music type and the second floor which is downstairs is hip hop
Small parking lot next door or street parking
We do have a dress code, but we always Welcome a little rave flair! Just no hoops, globes, sticks or anything like that, as we are pretty tight quarters!
Mostly Asian and caucasian that hardly know how to dance haha. Easy to talk to cute girls.
High heels are not required to enter the club.
Yes
Not a question, but I get it. This place sucks in my opinion. If you had a negative experience, please leave a review reflecting your opinion.
A variety of music, usually electronic dance music (EDM)
What was your question?
No hats
Baskets? Did you mean purse or bags? Then yes. If it is really basket, why would you take a bread basket to a club?
Buy them online
Get in line at Howard St, show ID, pay for admission, then enter
I'm not sure on that call to find out from the club manager on info I don't see why not.
No way! I know some people in there. They are all nice guys. If you try to dance where the 2 girls dance, yes, you will get warned but thats it. I go by myself too and i love it over there. Ps, after you leave, buy food from the guy that takes your ticket when you walk in. His food is the best!!
If you wear a hat you have to leave it at the door, ask me how I know...
Wow you should report that soon. That's not right and they do to much favoritism and they get slipping on this. You need to get a refund on this now and report it. It's a cool night club to meet people and Asians and listen to music and drink the night away and see women in leather and get a Uber ride and then ask yourself this were else are you going to go after that at night? Definitely report it to the manager at that club and just be safe and have fun.
No, 21 is the biggest.
If remember right they took both..but i always keep cash to use in clubs rather than card... more secure...
