We walked in pleasantly surprised at 10 am to see only 5 other tables had guests. I asked about gluten free and was told “many options available”. When we sat down it took the waitress, who was so sweet, a LONG time to even greet us. Once we got our food, which was quick, the service just got slower. My crab omelet was delicious, my husbands grilled chicken scramble pleased him. The price was great! The only reason I rated a 2 is because our food was good and our server was sweet. The service was slower and not as attentive as we’re used to at other breakfast places. Always great to try at least once.

If you enjoy getting bullied by not only the owner (ginger) but also (coworkers) Melanie and Kathleen this is the place for you! Terrible place to work. Extremely unorganized and chaotic. I tried to tell the owner my feelings before leaving and was dismissed. So enjoy your breakfast💗

I ordered biscuits and gravy, a large fruit and a side of potatoes to go. I was not overly impressed unfortunately. The large fruit bowl ($4.50) was not much of bowl at all. A few apple slices, maybe 1/4 of a banana and 8 blueberries. The potatoes ($3.00) were not bad but I had asked to make them crispy and they did not honor that request. The order contained 12 diced pieces of potato. The biscuits and gravy ($6.50) were a big disappointment. It was two biscuits cut in 1/2 with gravy, although 3 out of the 4 biscuits had small dollops of gravy and not nearly enough to cover them. The biscuits and gravy was bland (I had to add a lot of pepper to give them any flavor). The biscuits were not fresh, having hard edges that made me think they were at least a day old. The gravy did nothing to soften the biscuit out. I am still on my quest to find a great place for biscuits and gravy but I can say that Ginger Sue's is certainly not it.

The servers wear masks and seat parties at appropriate social distance. The menu is presented via a QR code that lets you view it online on your smartphone. Generally seems to be very conscious of good practices.

Did hours change? I was supposed to meet someone there on Wednesday at 6:30 and all the lights were off. No one has responded to a Facebook message either. Hope they’re not closed permanently.

No, AM. Site says they open at 6:30am and there wasn’t a car in the lot.
