I love Zero's but this location...after seeing my sub come out of the oven and it was sliding on the corner of the counter just grossed me out. Every order in the oven was just piling up and the woman wrapping everything just stood and watched and didn't even pick the trays up because she was discussing another order with someone else. And the towel she was using to pick up the tray's was probably clean but didn't look clean and it was touching everyone's french fries. Just little things I would rather not see before I eat my food. Ignorance is bliss you know? I wouldn't have paid for the sub and just left with some of the cheese from the corner of the counter.

I really love this place. I miss it. They dont have it in s.c but I came to va on a visit. And made time to get me a great philly steak and cheese. Ohbit took me back to my child hood. It was so good. Now the laction.. was ok. They only had 2 emplorlyees. And they were iver wheeled. But they were nice and being understaffed they still made sure food was great and attended to each customer. So I calmly waited for my great food. So I recommend any zeros to eat. No matter the location because the food is worth it. But customer service go along way. And I appreciated the attitude and effort the employees gave the night I went. Zeros is always a must for sub lovers.

I have never had zeros before until my local friend brought me here. I've never had a meatball sub so perfect. Now, I added a little bit of mayonnaise and jalapenos, but it was perfect. I ate there three times while in town and even got my daughter hooked. Not to mention the folks that work there are just awesome. I tried two locations and both of them were excellent.

This Zero's is located in an old strip of shops on Va Beach Blvd right next to I64. It can be kind of hidden due to the hug big box pharmacy in the parking lot however the side road is Kempsville Road and you can enter the parking lot from there. It's located fairly close to my doctor's office and often times after an appointment, especially if I've been fasting, I tend to head over here as soon as I'm through with the doctor. This location has been open for many years and you can definitely see the look of a bygone era when you walk inside. The color of the walls is an old dull green and reminds me of a hospital hallway back in the 70's. Don't let that dissuade you, they make a mean sub in this little hole in the wall. Typically I'll pick up a Club Sub however everything I've had here from a grub steak, meatball or a regular turkey sub has been delicious. Prices are fair and you can get a full sub lunch combo for about $10 or half sub in a lunch combo as well. Everything is made fresh and and toasted in the oven right in front of you. Check them out, you'll be gad you did.
