Had to take a relative to the emergency room. The stay lasted under 2 hours. No treatment was needed, fortunately it was just heart burn or something like that. The invoice we got from San Ramon Regional for EKG and basic bloodwork and 10 minutes of doctor time to ensure everything is good was an unbelievable and potentially fraudulent $10,6627!!! That is what one would need to pay for a 10-day all-inclusive family vacation to some Caribbean Island, not for 2 hours in a room being mostly ignored. If anyone wants to find out what is wrong with US healthcare, one only need to look at this hospital and its billing. Fortunately for us the insurance cut down the invoice to a little over $900, but imagine if the person did not have an insurance, they would then get an actual heart attack after seeing the invoice. Have a lot of respect for the people who work there but hospital itself is very greedy and needs to be investigated. Shame.

This hospital staff especially the nurses are terrible and irresponsible at what they’re doing. I had surgery there and had to spend almost two weeks there. During my stay they barely cleaned the room I was staying and the nurses ignored me when I asked for something. They seem to doesn’t know how the machines work.

Abusive staff. They put an autistic teenager in full four point restraints because she was having panic attack about being in a hospital and was scared of needles. Staff brought in 4~ grown men to hold down a 90 pound girl. When the girl told staff that being held down and put in restraints by adult men was triggering her PTSD because she had been abused while being held down by grown men, staff laughed and mocked the girl. Will be reporting to higher up.

Staff members there are patient and friendly. However, as many existing reviews stated, billing definitely is on the crazy side. I was in ER for 3hours, after all the labs and blood draw, they couldn't figure out what went wrong, and asked me to follow up with a PCP?????? Now a month later I received a bill close to $20k, after insurance, $2k+ out of pocket. Please don't blame it on bay area pricing. Several years back, at a different bay area facility, a ER visit ended up with a 2-day hospital stay costed me less!

The worst er ever....
Every patient entering the hospital whether through the Emergebcy Room or as an admission for elective surgery (e.g. Cataract surgery) is tested for COVID. It is for the safety of the patients and the people who take care of them.
Depends on what you going in for.
try a medical supply store..
usually around $225 a visit
I've had 3 surgeries here and staff are tremendous
