Center for Domestic Peace have been a wonderful as a community partner. They have provided outstanding trainings to our staff who are now better prepared to assist and refer people who face intimate partner violence to their agency for comprehensive services that empower survivors to be safe and on the road to self sufficiency!

This organization has a lot to work on very inappropriate interaction skills with people who have been recently traumatize they allow absolute complete nonsense to go on on the property of the safehouse from physical assaults between clients to theft they are also allowing people in who are blatantly just homeless and suffer from drug addiction or who have recently been incarcerated to come into their safe house I have tried to been vocal about all the problems I have been going on and instead I felt I was harassed on a consistent basis to feel forced to leave also to this place needs extreme coaching an education on culture sensitivity. A lot of the White staff here down play racial problems and unique barriers women of color have to face when fleeing domestic violence staff team lacks diversity also a lot of I feel their opinions and Views are coming from a white female perspective. With white institutionalized racism influences

1 Star - Money Management I wouldn't donate cash to this organization. I would donate items that their clients need. They are very well funded but the funding doesn't get to the client's absolute necessities. Let me tell you how shocking this place is. They give one roll of toilet paper a week to an adult and when you run out, they refuse to supply! I've lived with inhumane aggressors in my life but never denied of toilet paper! Good Lord! They have a company car but they don't actually take the ladies and babies anywhere. They force the clients to hustle for bus tickets at Saint Vincent de Paul or use their own car and gas. Which makes it very easy for their aggressors to spot them. We've had a Mexican mother with an infant and two toddlers to use the bus or her own car and gas... Using the bus with three kids is not a safe thing to do when you have a violent partner. The aggressor spotted the family at a grocery store because she is driving the same family car. Very stupid. If they would manage the funding properly, you can easily increase the number of cars and staff at the shelter.

This company is a very high end of D minus. Very close to a F. The below comments are likely made by staff, volunteers, givers and clients that don't know anything about nonprofit management nor the industry of feminism, nor the movement of raising the status of women. My family, friends, co-workers and I have been under their care. If you wish to know, I would report an abuse and go inside to check yourself.

Center for domestic peace would be a good stop. They'll definitely point you to the right direction but apso contact child and family services (formerly known as child protective services) to get a case going
Yes they do 😊
