Don’t respond to calls because of “Covid” I’ve called multiple numbers everyday 5 to 6 times and left voicemails and nothing. I’ve also completed every form and sent it about two weeks ago. I haven’t heard from anybody from Ihss.

They are not helping people. They will say because of covid no one answered the phone calls even though you left the message several times. When I stopped by at office the lady from IHSS said you have to make an appointment. How can I make an appointment that you never answered the calls. There's no option to do online. My mom case have been approved for almost 2 months. So it's mean I've been contacted them for more than a month til now but no one is responding. Thank you IHSS, you guys are not helping people just take a free money from government and doing nothing.

ONLY if you and your husband have your own individual IHSS Employment Contract with hours allocated to work each month. You cannot Share hours or be billed 2 hours for each hour worked by the person you work for. Bottom line- if u are doing something outside of the IHSS Guidelines and under false pretense or fraud entitled intent, you should just stop. You can't be paid if u are not employed by IHSS, married or not married, because u can't, "share" your hours with another person or have another work on your behalf. Capesh!?

If you work for more than 1 recipient, 66 hours is the weekly max. If you have just one recipient, your weekly max is determined by taking the monthly authorized hours and dividing them by 4 (Weeks in the month)
Report them and have yoyr client report it to her social worker .
@Nelda Smith I believe the cost is anywhere from$40.00-$90.00. when I had mines ran i paid $55.00 and that was around the beginning of last year. Hope this was helpful.
