Lawyers, for the most part, get a bad wrap. But not these folks. In 2020, my partner was rear-ended in a parking low. It didn't seem like a big deal but we quickly realized that there was damage to the knee because of the accident. Navigating medical care during the worst of COVID was difficult but they were always very helpful. Throughout the course of my partner's case, it was always easy to get ahold of the attorney (Annie); she was always kind and respectful. And she managed to get twice the anticipated settlement for my partner!! I can't recommend the office highly enough; they are amazing and kind.

For my cycling accident (oncoming car turned left in front of me) I picked a legal team comprised of experienced cyclists. They know how much cars and asphalt hurt! My case experience with Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers earned them an honest AAA+++ rating. I mean this most sincerely. Key highlights: Communications throughout the entire effort. AAA+++ Initial case review and clear discussion of options before proceeding. AAA+++ Final outcome. AAA+++ (Let's be frank about this. It's a $$$+++ rating !) True compassion and genuine interest in optimizing your outcome. AAA+++ Extremely competent with thorough attention to every case detail. AAA+++ Ability to author a powerful, compelling Demand Letter, as needed. AAA+++ In summary, highly recommended! I worked with Rebecca and Carmen primarily but I'm certain any and all of the Morin team will provide you the absolute best outcome in your case! Give them a call. You will be happy you did.

After I was injured post car vs. bike accident, I contemplated representing myself while opening a personal injury case -- but I'm SO glad I didn't go that route! Similar to another review, while I was searching for an attorney, my case was said to have been "small" because I did not suffer any broken bones and wasn't as severely injured as I could've been -- this made me feel like the injuries I did suffer were insignificant and made me lose hope. After initially chatting with Lauren Pietsch about my case, Rebecca Taylor and Carmen Wierenga were assigned to represent me and managed the entire process from start to finish. Rebecca is extremely knowledgable, attentive, responsive, and genuinely cares about her clients. Looking back on it, I can't believe I was even thinking about representing myself -- there's so much more that goes into a personal injury case than I originally thought, and it wouldn't have been worth the additional stress to deal with just to potentially save on commission fees on top of trying to recover physically and mentally. Rebecca and team went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and protected, and I'm so grateful for the peace of mind and relief they've given me. These smart and talented women are truly experts in their field, and had my best interest at heart throughout everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal injury lawyer, no matter how "big" or "small" you feel your case may be.

I can't give the team at Sally Morin Law enough stars for the excellent work they do and have done. I was referred to Sally Morin from a good friend after I was injured, and after a single phone conversation, the choice was easy to make. Not only was everyone extremely professional, they made the entire process smooth and clear. I was at ease with each step of the journey because they were always there to answer my questions and keep me informed of what was happening. All expectations were met and exceeded. I highly recommend Sally and her team to anyone in need of their services. You'll be in good hands!

Although the majority of our clients experience accidents in San Francisco and many in Los Angeles, we represent clients who have had accidents anywhere in California. All of our personal injury attorneys are licensed in California. Our past cases range from places in California like Stockton, Lake Tahoe, American Canyon, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Woodland Hills,Glendale and Chino Hills. Of course, we regularly have clients from the San Francisco Bay Area like Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, San Jose, Redwood City and Santa Rosa. Also, we are particularly well-suited to represent clients who live outside the state of California but experienced a serious personal injury traffic accident in California while here on business or vacation. Our tech-savvy legal team with our no-contact case management processes has successfully handled numerous cases for out-of-state, or even out of country, clients who need a local California personal injury lawyer to protect their rights.
Yes. We work on a contingency fee basis. What that means is that you’re never going to have to come out of pocket for anything related to your legal services in your case, so you don’t have to pay us a retainer upfront, you don’t have to pay us as we go along, we’re not working on an hourly basis where we bill you, and we front all costs associated with your case so you don’t even have to come out of pocket for those. So you’re never going to end up owing us anything. Oh, and also, of course, we get paid out of the settlement. You don't cut a check to pay our fees. We only get paid if we win and we get paid by the insurance company at the end of the case. You’re not going to end up owing us anything because we’ll negotiate a settlement that covers your personal injury attorney’s fees, your case costs, any out of pocket medical expenses, and then of course, we’re going to negotiate something so we have money left over for you to put in your pocket when all is said and done.
We handle serious traffic accident cases involving: Pedestrian, Car or Truck, Bicycle, Uber or Rideshare, Motorcycle, Driverless/ Autonomous Cars, Scooter, Wrongful death from a Traffic Accident, DUI Injury Delivery Truck. We specifically help clients who were injured in a California vehicle accident with serious injuries such as broken bones, traumatic brain injury or injuries requiring hospitalization and/or surgery. We do NOT pursue claims on behalf of those who suffer only minor injuries such as whiplash, bruises, neck pain or other soft tissue injuries. Check out our website at www.sallymorinlaw.com for more information.
Great question, Chris! ... a very common one asked by our new personal injury clients. But, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. How long it takes to settle a personal injury case really depends on multiple factors. The first is where you are in your medical treatment and injury recovery. Any good personal injury attorney won't start negotiating a settlement of your claim until you are totally done with your treatment, or you have reached "maximum medical recovery" of your injuries. Another important factor that affects how soon you can settle is whether liability for the accident is disputed or not. A liability dispute can mean it will take more investigation and time to settle. Overall, on average, we settle our clients' cases (and put money in their pockets) about 10 months after they complete their medical treatment.
