Honesty ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Professionalism ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trustworthy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short waiting time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kindness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love and prefer them better than Parnassus ones. Just be patient if you're looking for a first time appointment. Also don't work very well by phone. I mean it's hard to get a phone call back or voice message respond. They work better by email 👍🏽⭐⭐⭐ and excellent in person ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I don't know what is happening to this place. I have been trying to call for 3 weeks and even left a message with my number, just to make an appointment and I still haven't been able to talk to a person.

Would recommend to a friend! The first time I went there when I had no insurance, tried to get a good service for not too expensive. A few years later I’m still going there for check-ups. The front desk people are always very helpful and polite. The students seem to know what they’re doing and are being supervised by senior doctors. Thanks for keeping my teeth healthy!

The Doctors, both student doctors and instructors (who work with "student doctors" on EVERY patient = truly excellent care) as well as ALL of the staff are fabulous!!!! In my experience; everyone there goes above and beyond AND their professionalism is top shelf, as well. I'm in the middle of getting a complete mouth restoration so I'm spending A LOT of time in their dental chairs and working with support staff on matters like dealing with insurance, setting lots of appointments, etc!!! All of that said; I still cannot say enough good things about UCSF Buchanan Dental!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Does this dentist accept medical?

Hi Shanika. No, they don't. They don't accept Medical. I also have Medical but I do prefer to pay because they are so professional, honest and, they are going to do only what you need. The best is that fees are affordable comparing with other private dentist offices.

DO you take patient for ergent care without insurance? how much you charged ?

Call & check.... some folks have private insurance... others use public funded programs.... students are all advanced & under direct supervision of staff.... quality is high.. BUT... need to be patient timewise 😎
