Ros “Nubian Sunflower” Miles

Delicious food. Def satisfied my taste buds. Generous portions. The initial service left something to be desired. But it did improve by the time my order arrived.

The food was so good! 🔥 Everything we expected after watching their social media presence. The garlic crab with blackened prawns (shrimp) and garlic noodles was to 'live' for!!"😋 Even my super picky mother was impressed with those noodles 🍜! (And she is not easily impressed 🙂). Next... we had the fried Brussel sprouts. Sliced, seasoned and seemingly pan seared... these little morsels were a crowd pleaser! Yum!! Now why only 4 stars?... Well when I first walked in the service seemed a bit dry. I was not supposed to walk into the restaurant to make a to go order. HEADS UP! There is a side/back door for that purpose. The cashier, there, was a bit dry too. I actually had to explain that this was my first time here and that I was down from another city before she opened a bit and explained the specials and pricing. (There were no smiles, tho) 🤔 It mightve been 3 stars for service... but later the security/wait staff was very helpful and friendly (I should've asked his name). And the children (owners childrens?) Were very mannerable asking "Hi. Are you being helped?" And I was. Thank you. 😄

We waited outside to be seated then once we got seated we were told we HAD to order a peach pie. We don't even like peach pie. We got our food and even though the waiter said it was fresh out the fried corn was Luke warm and chewy, blackened shrimp no taste, and the noodles and Mac and cheese were already cooled off and my crab was pretty much cold. Was told they don't do send backs! I was treating out of town family and I hyped this place up just to be let down and out of almost 300 bucks. The crab house in San Francisco was better and hot food. I'm sure if the food was hot it would tasted so much better!

Pretty Bull

This place was amazing! First time there. The greeter at the door was soooo welcoming. Our waitress was amazing, she got my order wrong, she apologized with no attitude, corrected my order and didn’t miss a beat. I even got a picture with the chef. I really enjoyed our dinner it was definitely full filling and delicious!
