DOESN'T ANSWER THE PHONE I got a foot injury and was told to stay off it for a bit. I have called several times to cancel and they keep letting the phone ring and then hanging up. Will be letting other people know the never come here.

I like planet fitness and this is a super nice location with enough equipment for lots of people. The staff is nice and Robby/Bobby there was super helpful and knowledgeable to me when I joined (did it manually because the app was going to make me pay $30 up front even though the promotion said $1). I just wish the gym had sweat towels and wipes for the machines instead of paper towels and spray, but that's all planet fitness locations.

Do yourself a favor and and do not open a membership at this location. They are the absolute worst people to deal with and the gym is filthy. I have two PF memberships one here at Downtown Crossing in Boston which has been a nightmare since day one. I have tried closing it multiple times and I am still getting billed. When you call or walk in to try a get things cleared up no one will help you. Take my advice and stay clear of this location. My other membership allows me to go to any PF gym. I have never had a problem at any other location. To your reply (PF). I am happy to hear you want all your customers have nothing but a stellar experience. Because I will be going to the gym and to talk to Management for the Fourth Time!!!! to get this fixed!!!! I guess Stellar has different meaning to different people. Anyone who reads this do yourself a favor and do not join the Downtown Crossing Planet Fitness.

Overall – I really like this gym for casual training and to stay in shape. Pros: - great price - convenient locations (right next to Boston Commons Park) - people in the gym are nice - wide array of equipment Cons: - hours have been updated as of January 1, 2021, and the gym now closes much to early for my liking. I'm really bummed about this hour change and hope they go back to being 24/7 very soon! I would raise my rating to 4 stars if the old hours came back - limited / no real free weights, besides dumb bells and curl bars. I would raise my rating another start if they had a full set of free weights for bench press, squat, dead lift, etc.

Yes they have 5 or 6 I believe.
They do. They have a free one day try out pass. Go to the website, choose the location you want and search for free pass or something like that :)
You can bring one guest with you if you have a Black Card. If you have a basic membership, you can't bring any guests with you. As far as the age, she can work out at 14 years old but she would have to be with a parent or guardian, she can't be the guest of another similarly aged person.
Yep, Teresa, spot on. If you travel it's a no brainer to be a Black member ($24.99), or if you want to invite guests or amenities like massage bed, great value if you use it. Commit. You'll love the person you see in the mirror!
They are open now. A bunch of cardio equipment got ruined with the burst pipe, though. Not sure on the timeline for repair or replacement.
It's now from 5am to 10:00 pm on Mondays though Fridays and 7am to 10:00 pm on weekends so yeah....it's blows
Yes. 3 or 4 Standing Tanning Booths, this Vibrating Booth thingy, lol + Massage Chairs, & the AWESOME HYDROMASSAGE - THAT WAS INCREDIBLE !!
No.
Hi there, Tommy! While no official announcements have yet to be made, we appreciate your patience, and we encourage you to check the PF website for all official updates. Thank you!
We understand the convenience of a 24-hour facility, but our club may have implemented modified hours in order to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable gym for our PF family. If you have any questions or concerns about the operating hours, please call your home club.
$22.99, with $0 down ( but they take the first month almost right away out of your bank account) and $39.99 annually. The plus side other than all the Perks of the black membership, is that most health insurance companies reimburse you some or all of the cost of your gym membership. My insurance carrier reimburses up to $200, so my membership is only $115.87/year( $9.65/month). Basically the Black Membership at the Classic membership price. How this helps!
Hi Cate. We regret any inconvenience. Are you referring to the Boston (Downtown Crossing), MA club? (https://www.planetfitness.com/gyms/boston-downtown-crossing-ma). - Ella
As a precaution, we have temporarily suspended certain PE@PF classes which trained groups of up to five members at a time, in order to help maintain physical distance. We do still offer our New Member Orientation and Design Your Own Program (DYOP) classes, our Certified Trainers can create a personalized workout plan for you based on your fitness goals and interests. See your local club for more details.
Minimal. Theres a few meter spots on surrounding streets including Tremont, and garages on Tremont and Arch St which are $$$
