Stopped to gas up. Waterside on the Wicomico river in the Northern Neck of VA. Several dining rooms including a deck overlooking the river. Full bar too. Catch of the day was fresh rockfish. Ordered as fish and chips. Tender with the batter fried to perfection, and obviously actually fresh landed. Amazing. I often avoid fish cause too often fresh means unfrozen. There is not a lot of choices for restaurants there so try this one.

The hush puppies and the fish and chips were excellent and our server, Hannah, was wonderful as well! The crab cake was a bit on the bland side. But the view was fantastic! Wish I could give 4.5 stars since the only thing keeping this from being 5 stars was the crab cake.

I have coming to Horn Harbor for years and during that time the food and service was great! But now, the service is terrible!! We visited this Memorial Day Sunday and the service was terrible! We waited a long time for our dinner. Once dinner was delivered the waitress never checked back to ask if we needed anything or was everything alright? I dont blame the waitress I blame the Manager and lack of training. There was a couple that came in and waited for 20 minutes and no waitress came to their table so they left. I dont think i will be back!. Manager please train your staff!

We arrived by sailboat and enjoyed dinner on the patio. The food was delicious and drinks were delightful. We had an amazing view of the sunset as we were leaving. Docking was easy and slips easy to get to.
