Check your receipt before you leave. I have been to Shaw's twice in the past month and both times their advertised sale prices were not honored during the initial transaction. I used the Shaw's app to "clip" the "deal" and provided the clerk my phone number to link to my account. Each time, I did not receive the advertised price. This resulted in an average overcharge of about 22.00. I was told at time of first incident that the store is aware that the problem occurs "1 in 1000 times." If that is true, I must be the most unlucky person on the planet. I shared that with the Frontline Manager at time of most recent incident. I did call the corporate customer feedback line to provide this information as it is clearly an ongoing problem. None of us can afford to be overcharged. Both times, I was able to get a refund for the overcharge, but only because I knew to double check my receipt before leaving. Buyers beware, always check your receipt before you leave the store and budget an extra 10 minutes or so to get your refund processed.
