Super friendly and helpful ladies -- 10 stars! Took a day trip to Maine. Stopped here for ideas in Portland area. Suggested various lighthouses, restaurants, and shopping for Portland and en route areas. Clean bathrooms. Parking area for bikers. Photo op with small stuffed moose.

Nice & clean restrooms. All the visitor centers have very helpful information and attendants. In this world of Covid it has been a Godsend to have decent clean restrooms when on the road, especially for those that have medical issues and have to stop for the restrooms. Alot of places have closed their lobbies and restaurants only to find drive thou only.

Lots of information, maps and directions, history, and other services! Has like a 10 mile bike trail too! I remember when it was being built. Theres an inactive train track that goes alongside it, my 80 year old grandfather has been here for over 20 years and hopes the train gets active again since it would be great for the locals. Great place, right on the border too.

Perfect for our snowmobile weekend the staff very helpful in providing us the information we needed for our first exploration of the area the local Trail systems. Beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, scenery and wildlife. Without the Wooden Covered Bridge was especially neat not only to see but be able to ride across over the river. The Trail literally goes right by the building plenty of room for truck and trailer to maneuver and set up for our day. Thank you for everything!

No river access. River is located far across the street behind homes. Easiest access in close proximity would be Westons beach or Swans Falls
